Built in Andalucian style, Fairways offers a secure development with sub tropical gardens and a professional lifeguard monitored heated swimming pool. The accommodation and resort are particularly popular with families and those seeking a quiet haven in which to relax and enjoy the sunshine and scenery.
The beauty of this apartment is that you combine a privately owned apartment with the facilities of a good quality holiday resort. Fairways has an on-site reception,restaurants, bars, supermarket and car hire
This unique 2 bed apartment to rent in Fairways Amarilla Golf and Country Club is ideal for families or couples alike.
The apartment is well furnished comprising 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The master has a double bed whilst the 2nd is a twin.
The open plan style living area offers a well equipped kitchen including oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen to the lounge.
The lounge has a very comfortable large sofa for 4 adults. Satellite TV is provided with BBC, ITV etc. For when you are not dining "al fresco" there is a dining table and 4 chairs.
Patio doors lead from the lounge to the balcony that has lovely views over the golf course. Patio table and chairs are provided.
The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.
Steps lead from the side of the front door of the apartment to your own private roof terrace. Here you have all day sunshine with wonderful views over the golf course and towards the sea. Sun recliners, patio chairs and a table are provided.
The complex of Fariways is gated, allowing entrance only to members and invited guests, giving your family more security.
For the kids there is a lovely play area, table tennis, and a daily activity programme during the school holidays.
There is a large heated swimming pool at the heart of the resort with pool bar and the club house restaurant right by its side. Here you can enjoy an evening meal followed by live music or a local act.
There is a 24 hr reception, a childrens play area and free wi-fi zone.
Amarilla Golf and Country Club is a quiet resort with a scattering of bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Just outside the complex is a supermarket, and a few restaurants and bars. Fairways is just a 10 minutes walk to the new marina at Golf Del Sur. Here there is a very pretty sea front promenade full of good quality restaurants and bars.
Further into the resort, is the San Blas Commercial Centre that consists of 3 picturesque squares each containing good quality bars, restaurants (many with evening entertainment), boutiques and a night club. The nearby Spanish village of Los Abrigos is just a 10 minute taxi ride and here is a small fishing port, full of some of the best fresh fish restaurants on the island.
10 mins walk to marina with bars, restaurants and shops. On-site supermarket and a 2nd one within 2 mins walk. 10-15 minutes drive from Airport, 10-15 minutes to Los Cristianos and 15 minutes to Playa de Las Americas (by car).

The property could do with a very small amount of TLC such as replacing outside light which only worked intermitantly, Lampshade missing in Main bedroom entrance and rusty light fitting/ and shower head in second bathroom....nothing major. Nevertheless the property was clean and tidy and ideally located for exploring the local area.
We were actually in apartment 118 provided as an alternative to 216 Fairways. This apartment was excellent throughout, with exceptional views across the Amarilla Golf Course and all the way up to Mount Teide. I would not hesitate to book this apartment again.
Our party consisted of two couples.
With regard to the description of the property - this was mostly accurate except that there was no dishwasher and the dining room table and chairs are actually the patio furniture which has to be brought indoors if you are not eating al fresco.
There is one en suite bathroom with the double bedroom but there is also a very small wc/shower room adjacent to the twin bedroom off the living area. The twin bedroom is not as well appointed as the double bedroom and perhaps more suitable for children.
If there are more than 2 people staying then showers and baths have to be planned ahead as the hot water tank is small.
If you have a problem with stairs then this is not the property for you as there are many and they are steep.
However, we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay and we would come again.

The main balcony off the living room, and the roof top terrace give lovely views over Amarilla golf. The apartment feels very comfortable and homely, and there is all the equipment you need. Immediately opposite the entrance to Fairways is an excellent small supermarket with everything you need at reasonable prices- almost no need to go to the Mercadona Hypermarket.
We found that Fairways residents get a discount of 10% at Amarilla Golf. There is a good Wifi hotspot near the pool close by the apartment with a good hi -speed broadband connection.
