A fully equipped spacious family friendly two bedroom apartment, superbly located in the -Golden Triangle- between Vilamoura, Vale Do Lobo and Almancil. The prestigious Al-Sakia village is ideal for those who do not like large tourist developments but yet within easy reach of some of the most beautiful parts of Algarve. The apartment sleeps 4 and comprises hallway, lounge/dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, family bathroom, en-suite to master bedroom with jacuzzi bath.One double and one twin bedroom. Video intercom and stereo surround system in the apartment.There are mobile air cooling/heating units and convenient parking. Facilities include a large swimming pool with jacuzzi, children’s paddling pool and play area, 2 tennis courts, sauna, gym, solarium and restaurant/bar with pool-side terrace.

Vilamoura has a world reknown marina, casino, cinema, shops, bars, restaurants & 2 beautiful beaches. The beaches are wide, clean & well looked after. Much quieter is Trafal beach, between Vilamoura and Vale do Lobo. All these are of golden sands, clean and within approx. 5 mins by car. The beautiful Falesia beach (west of Vilamoura) is not much further away. The Algarve is a golfer's paradise boasting 25+ championship courses. Vila Sol is within walking distance from the apartment. Some 12 golf courses are within 10km distance and the 5 courses in Vilamoura (Pinhal, Laguna, The Old Course, Millennium and Victoria) are all within a 5/10 min drive, as are those at Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Faro airport is approximately 3 hours flying time from Manchester. Scheduled flights are available all year round. Similarly regular flights are available from Luton, Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow & Glasgow. The apartment is 20 miutes drive from the airport. A bus stop is 500 meters from the apartment and services run between Faro and Albufeira, stopping, amongst others, in Almancil and Vilamoura.
Vilamoura 2km, Loule 7km, Almancil 5km, Faro Airport 15km, Quarteira 2km. Almargem beach 1.5km, Trafal beach 2km, 6 restaurants within 1km, Aqua Show 1km, 12 Golf courses within 10km.

The accommodation is of a really high standard and has everything you could need. We felt at home immediately.
The restaurant attached to the leisure complex was very good and very reasonable.

Without a doubt the best holiday. The apartment was very spacious, and very clean. As soon we we walked through the door we were immediately impressed.
We took advantage of the fully furnished kitchen, washing machine and also used the iron on occasion. TV and DVD’s provided and I personally liked the recommendation book which suggested all the best restaurants to go to in the area. 10 minute walk from Lidl where you can enjoy the fresh bakery and buy bottles of water.
Location quiet which was perfect. 10 minute cab journey to the town costing around €4 for four people.
Pool and gardens were beautiful. On site bar / restaurant Tiramisu was great, drinks very cheap at €2.50 a pint and €1.50 for soft drinks.
Overall I found this venue to be excellent value for money and I hope to return next year.

Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable appartment. The pool is fabulous: during our stay sun beds and parasols were readily available at a very reasonable price - €2.50 per day for 2 beds/parasol. We would be very happy to return to Al-Sakai Village.

Having stayed overnight with a friend who has an apartment in the same block, I had some prior knowledge of the quality of the accomodation. My expectations were met - the rooms were fitted to a high standard and appeared to have been well maintained.
I have only two minor complaints: the lock to the front door was very difficult to operate even at the end of our stay and the shower curtain in the en suite bathroom was neither long nor wide enough to prevent the floor being flooded whenever a shower was taken.
Otherwise, we were delighted with the apartment and would definitely book again!

I have owned this property since 2004, when it was newly built. Al-Sakia village have one of the largest, if not the largest swimming pools, in Algarve, 900sqm. This in combination with the large pool area was a deciding factor when purchasing the apartment. We had a young family at the time and the place is ideal and safe for children. We really enjoy the area, as it is very quiet with a number of restaurants (1 on site) within walking distance, yet within reach of the busy Vilamoura and Quarteira.
