Overview

Sandpiper is an airy, spacious maisonette comprising the entire upper floor of a detached property in the friendly seaside village of Seaton Sluice near Whitley Bay. Entirely self-contained, Sandpiper has its own ground-floor entrance door and is accessed via stairs at front and rear.

The open-plan living space has a large sofa and smart TV with bluetooth soundbar; fast broadband ensures good quality viewing of your favourite streaming channels. The dining area has a large, extendable table and is open to the kitchen.

The kitchen is well equipped with oven, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine, cafetiere, wine glasses, dog bowls, washing machine & dryer.

Stairs lead down from the kitchen to the private patio area which has outdoor dining furniture and BBQ facilities. The large garden is fully enclosed and suitable for supervised children and dogs. Up to two dogs can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

The master bedroom has a comfy king-size bed and the second bedroom has a bunkbed with full-sized double on the bottom and single on top. Both rooms have blackout curtains, plenty of storage and double-glazed windows.

The bathroom has a full bath with thermostatic shower and constant mains hot water.

There are lots of lovely walks and cycle routes on the doorstep (bikes can be locked in the garage by arrangement). The beautiful dune-lined, sandy beach is only 5 mins walk away and you'll also find great pubs, a chippy, cafes & a Co-op in the village, all in easy walking distance.

Seaton Sluice provides the perfect base for exploring the North East. Hop on a bus direct to Whitley Bay, Newcastle or Blyth, or jump in the car and explore the Northumbrian coastline, countryside and hills.

Another relaxing stay at this lovely accommodation. Spacious rooms and equipped with all the essentials needed so that you can just unpack and start enjoying your stay.
A good sized, enclosed garden - which was perfect for our dog (she’s as relaxed staying here as we are!)
A couple of shops, local pubs and a great fish and chip shop within a couple of minutes walk - very handy.
Janet is a great host - friendly, quick to respond to any questions and accommodating. Would recommend, and we will be back again.
