Gorgeous house in the picturesque village of Rothbury. It's central location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the whole of Northumberland. The house was very clean, with beautiful views over the fields. All amenities were catered for and plenty of space for parking. Very comfortable beds and a lovely warm house. Would definitely visit again.

Had a wonderful week with friends at Riverview. Accommodation had everything we needed. The views are amazing, even on a frosty morning. Lots to do and see in the Rothbury area. The local shops are excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The cherry on the cake was the beautiful March weather.

This is a regular destination for our extended family.
The location and views are stunning and it's a handy spot for golf and beautiful walks which are on the doorstep. But you don't have to travel far for coastal or hill walks and stately homes .It has everything.
The accommodation as per usual is spotless and well equipped and if there were minor problems they were remedied with immediate effect .
Overall, a little bit of heaven in beautiful Northumberland

Absolutely loved River View, we could not recommend it enough. The house was immaculately clean, and had everything we could have needed and more. Lots of little extras made the stay extra special and had been well thought out, including DVDs, children's books, lego and games, a BBQ and cleaning equipment.
The house was large, 5 of us stayed for the first few nights, with just 3 of us staying for the rest of the week. We had more than enough room, and it was big enough for everyone to have their own space. The outdoor area was lovely- with amazing views which were the highlight of our stay. There were two huge lawns which are shared, however we had them to ourelves whenever we ued the garden.
The house looks out over the valley and is like an English version of Tuscany. Rothbury is a hidden gem in Northumberland which we hadn't heard of before but will definitely be returning to.
The only one comment I would add is that the curtains were light coloured, so it was really light in the mornings. It would have been a lot better if black out blinds (or any blinds) were in place, as it did cause us all to wake up early.. especially our little boy! If you have a portable black out blind for children, I would recommend taking it.
There were lots of lovely walks around the area, and it was great for running along the river. Rothbury has lots of nice shops and a great play area for children. We loved it.
