The Antrim Glens are an ideal location for short breaks or longer vacations with good road links to UK international airports and ferry ports in Larne and Belfast. With panoramic sea views over the Irish Sea to The Mull of Kintyre in Scotland.

Within a short driving distance is Slemish Mountain, where Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, is said to have tended livestock as a slave boy in the 5th Century.

The Local Village of Carnlough
Carnlough a small fishing village where you will find friendly local pubs where you can sing along and tap your feet in time with the music in a traditional pub where the strains of Danny Boy will often be heard.

Sit back and listen to thrilling tales of local highwaymen and chieftains, and true stories of fairies and folklore. With a wee dram or two of Bushmills whiskey those stories just get better and better!

The Accommodation
The accommodation offers a comfortable and spacious living/dining room featuring an open fire and oil central heating throughout.

A fully fitted kitchen with fridge, cooker and microwave oven.

A wet room (no bath) which would suit disabled or infirm.

We had a lovely week at the cottage. Great views across the sea and a clean, comfortable place to stay. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The only problem - the bed sinks in the middle!

Couple from Co Armagh, United Kingdom Feb 2015

The cottage was exceptionally nice and very well set out. The owner even included food for our first breakfast, a nice touch. Large TV very welcome as was the cosy fire. We would recommend this cottage highly. The dog was very much at home too.

A very warm welcome from the charming owner, excellent location for exploring the Glens of Antrim and coast road. A very comfortable apartment just wish we could have stayed longer and will book again next year.

>Nice cottage by the sea for a couple. Only the mattress on the double bed was sinking in the middle after 1-2 hours, next evening was straight again, then sinking again, and a bit narrow (about135cm) for a couple for a week.

Wonderful location. Wondeful views. Peaceful and tranquil. A first class location to get away from it all.

I had a lovely stay and will be back again in the future. I enjoyed the whole set up, it was private and quiet even though it was on a main road. the beds were comfy and the whole property was stocked with everything you could ever need. Perfect for exploring this stunning area. There was nothing i didnt like about my stay here, very pleased.

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped I particularly liked the decor We knew we would be close to the road that's the only draw back but once you are in you don't hear the traffic

I moved back to Northern Ireland 1n 2004 after spending 20 years in London and discovered this magestic property on the Antrim Coast. Love the peace and tranquility and waking up to the sound of the sea every day. In addition to hosting the apartments I have a seaweed business, harvesting various edible seaweeds, with the stock right on my doorstep!!
