Beautifully restored, 5 Star, Stone Cottage. Now a luxury purpose built holiday let. Finished in June 2019.
Everything is sparkly and new. Fab fresh colours and furnishings. Blue doors and blue shutter complete the real country cottage look.
Not only does it have an all year hot tub but also a seasonal splash pool. Its 4m wide and 1m deep so great to cool off in the summer months. It also has a fabulous Alfrseco dinning room right next to the hot tub with a large table to seat up to 10 and an extra fridge freezer for summer drinks and ice-creams.
A fantastic Hot Tub sits on the decking area just outside the back door on the large patio. Use this all year round for cosy nights with bubbles. A large 4m splash pool to cool off in during the summer months is set up just a few steps on to the large lawned area of garden, complete with sunbeds, a croquet pitch and badminton court, lawn bowls and table tennis table.
Views over the surrounding countryside can be seen from the trendy outside covered dinning area with outside log burner and Gas BBQ. Great for entertaining with family or friends.
Bluebell House is bright and spacious. 4 quirky bedrooms sleeping 8. (2 extra could be accommodated on request on a sofa bed and extra single cot bed.)
There are 3 king bedrooms + 1 twin bedroom. 2 Luxury bathrooms, 1 with a rain forest shower and 1 with roll top bath. Fab open plan lounge, dinning and modern kitchen. Broadband, Wi-Fi and sky TV. Parking in the large drive right outside the front door. Massage therapist available for treatments with advance bookings, for a real pamper for you group.
Perfect central location for lots of attractions such as Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, countryside and coast, Glastonbury, Wells and Millfield School. 2 larger villages are both only 3 miles away. Somerton, with a real oldie worldly feel and galleries delicatessens, cafes bars and country pubs. It also has a brand new escape room there. Then Street is more modern with Clarkes designer shopping outlet and restaurants. This is a true dream destination for shop-o-holics. 4 supermarkets and much more.
Fantastic central location with lots to see and do with 30 minutes drive. Great for a break at anytime of the year with friends and family. Set so you can just stay home or enjoy some local walks including the village 3 peaks challenge.

As a family of 5 we had an extended Christmas and new year stay. The house and grounds were decorated beautifully with lights and Christmas trees, stockings and advent calendars for the children. My sister and family joined us for new year in the extra rooms. We loved everything about it and will return in the summer. We highly recommend Tracy and Simon as host who were always on hand when we needed anything.
We could only book 5 nights as the rest of the holidays were fully booked. The family all loved it so will book early for a longer stay next summer. We normally travel abroad for the summer but with covid had to stay at home. The house and garden with the pool and hot tub were amazing. We hardly left the house as there was so much to do with the games and activities provided in the garden. My wife and her sister used the visiting beauty therapist for a pamper day when the boys went to play golf nearby.
We stayed here for Xmas 2019, 7 adults and 2 children, an extra single bed was provided. The rooms are lovely and the outside space exceptional. We all loved the bar outside and used the fire pit and even used the BBQ one night. The hosts Tracy and Simon were truly wonderful and provided a lovely welcome pack and Christmas stockings for us all. There was a Christmas tree and the house was fully decorated. We hope to come back in the summer!
Lots of room for two families, lovely quirky place. Thought the pear wood window sills and raw metal radiators were a lovely finish. Upstairs bathroom was lush. Beds all comfy. Great outside bar and dinning. We ate outside most nights. The hosts Simon and Tracy were really helpful and recommended some good local places to eat. They also did a bonfire for us and joined us for some garden games.
We booked this property for a week to settle our two daughters into Millfield Boarding school which is just down the road. The girls had the twin room upstairs and our son had a king size Rococo bed with all the trimmings to himself. The house had loads of room which meant that grandma and grandpa could join us for 3 nights. The kids loved the splash pool and played badminton. The adults loved the hot tub and we all played croquet. Great house, great garden, great location.
