Overview
We are ideally situated for exploring local walks and countryside and if you’re attending weddings at the nearby Eden Barn. Further afield is the market town of Kirkby Stephen, where you will find numerous independent shops, cafes pubs and restaurants.
The Cottage in Brough accommodates up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, and we are dog-friendly!
The cottage is beautifully decorated with character beams and an Aga log burner. The property has a large main double bedroom and can accommodate an extra bed for a 5th guest. The 2nd bedroom is a twin room.
A private stone-walled garden has garden furniture, a BBQ and a chiminea. A lockable stone shed is available for keeping bikes safe should you wish to make use.
Brough boasts 2 pubs, a restaurant, a bistro, a a fish and chip shop and a local shop selling everything you need.
While you are staying with us, we would love you to make yourselves at home. There are books, DVDs, and board games in the display cabinet in the kitchen and underneath the TV for those cosy nights in or rainy days. For the nicer evenings, there is garden furniture and a gas BBQ located in the outbuilding to the rear of the house, and wood for the chiminea
