Overview

Based on a rural South West Wales small holding our lodges offer 2 berth luxury, complete with hot tubs and log burners plus your own garden area and access to more land.

Based outside of the little village of Whitemill our lodges are found in the bottom of a small valley with lovely views by day and, weather permitting, clear skies by night. You’ll find yourself in the middle of a peaceful, rural landscape whilst still only 15 minutes to the town of Carmarthen and all the area has to offer. From the world class coast to woodland walks in Brechfa Forest, shopping, castles and more, there really is loads to do.

We offer a range of extras from enhanced welcome packs through to photography tuition with Mark, who is a professional photographer with a first class honours degree in photography.

During the months of February and March we lamb and guests are welcome to join us should we have a birth imminent!

We offer a warm welcome and the chance to meet the animals or you can be left to be in peace, the aim for the owners is that you enjoy your stay. What ever you need, please ask.

Simply the best Air B and B experience we’ve ever had; this one has it all. It’s actually quite hard to list all the awesome things about this place but I’m going to try! First up; let’s talk about the location. Straight out of the cabin you have stunning views of rolling hills in which it’s nestled and at night there is next to no light pollution and the only noises you’ll hear are the occasional animal noise and the roar of the log burner. Despite this, you are actually within a short drive of shops and pubs and there’s is absolute wealth of activities and things to do locally (although with a space this gorgeous you may not want to move!). The cabin itself is the perfect synergy of glamping and comfort; elements like the log burner, bbq and hot tub give you that outdoorsy feel but the space actually has all the creature comforts such heating, a really effective new cooker, microwave, shower, wifi, smart TV (literally signed in using Face ID on my phone!) and blue tooth hifi wall mounted hifi system. The cabin is new and beautifully built and the outdoor lighting looks utterly stunning at night. I can’t actually describe how fantastic it is watching the canopy of stars in the hot tub at night here-you just need to experience it! The small holding has a series of animals that aren’t in the least bit intrusive but are fantastic to watch as you lie chilling in the hot tub and ‘Claude’ the peacock is a pretty spectacular local celebrity! Some of the animals are rescued and there is a really nice ethic throughout the whole place; you get the distinct impression they are good people who care. Mark is the perfect host and whilst we were made to feel to so welcome and knew that he was on hand for all our needs we were also given total privacy. We had such a fantastic time, we’re absolutely gutted to say goodbye to ‘Pili Pala’ and cannot recommend this awesome stay highly enough. If you need to get away and recharge your batteries, you will not be disappointed!

A gorgeous little log ca in the Welsh countryside. The bed was super comfy, the hot water was lush, the fire was beautiful and so cosy. The welcome pack was probably the best we've ever received. It was everything we needed for a relaxing getaway from the real world. Thank you from Hannah and Tim.

We love our property, it's set in a peaceful and beautiful valley and we often have to pinch ourselves for being lucky enough to live here. There isn't anywhere better for a morning coffee listening to the birds. We love hosting guests in the lodge and are happy to help with your stay, be it from a quick welcome and to leave you in peace to relax or we can be more involved if you'd like like meet the livestock. We look forward to meeting you.
