Overview

In a commanding position overlooking Kalkan town, Villa Kahili was built to an exacting standard. This spacious villa is set against the magnificent backdrop of the Taurus mountains and has superb unobstructed views of the bay and it's islands. With substantial room sizes, beautifully furnished, the villa has a light and airy feel. This is most apparent in the emperor-sized master bedroom together with an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have a balcony or terrace, and have wonderful views of Kalkan and the bay.
The villa and infinity pool are set in a private landscaped garden complete with shaded pergola. In the evening you can sit under the stars on the large roof terrace and watch the boats return to the harbour in the bay. This is a beautiful villa for both families and couples, in a convenient, quiet location yet only minutes from Kalkan's shops and restaurants.

Kalkan is a small yet unique harbour town with unrivalled charm and character. A short walk down through the maze of cobbled streets lined with historic Greek and Turkish buildings covered in bougainvillea, soon reveals why Kalkan and its friendly people attracts the discerning time and time again. Renowned for its moderately priced high-quality restaurants, dine in the roof-terrace restaurants, listen to live classical/jazz music, relax and enjoy the view of the harbour and bay. Wander past charming boutique shops or through the local market - there is plenty here to absorb.

The historic town of Kalkan is one of the most attractive locations along Turkey's renowned Turquoise Coast, often referred to the Pirate Coast because of its many coves and islands. The Taurus Mountains surrounding the area provide a dramatic backdrop of considerable geographical interest and beauty. This is the fabled Lycian region rich in unspoiled cultural sites set in fertile plains - first-time visitors are in for a pleasant surprise! Kalkan has cool rainy winters, but has a warm and mild Spring. Summers are hot and dry with the temperatures remaining high well into October and November. Visitors have recently been taking advantage of extended flight availability and fine weather to holiday outside the traditional season.

We have just returned from a perfect week in Kalkan (family of 5 adults). Villa Kahili is fabulous with every detail thought about. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is immaculate and all rooms are spotless. The air conditioning is such a relief and works well. The pool is amazing, very deep, but perfect for my family. The sunbeds were really comfortable, lovely wood with luxurious cushions (no plastic sunbeds here). There is also plenty of shaded areas and parasols. The outside area and garden is really beautiful, I enjoyed looking at all the interesting plants and flowers. The views from the pool is fabulous, and the balconies and roof terrace views are breathtaking. The Villa is in a perfect location, just a short walk over the footbridge to the bars, restaurants and shops. Sheila’s communications were great, she replied to all my questions immediately. Kalkan is a pretty town with cobbled streets and a huge choice of rooftop restaurants. A visit to the Thursday market is a must.

The Villa is amazing. Not too far from the centre of Kahili, the pool man was very friendly and Sheila the owner is very helpful.
No real concerns at all. If we were being really critical the WiFi is not the best but manageable and the pool a little deep with no shallow end otherwise we had a fantastic holiday and would return no problem.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, your comments are very valuable to us and potential guests. We have tried to improve the WIFI on successive visits and will see if improvements can be made to the speed etc. Over this winter we will be making changes to the pool so that there will be a shallower end. We were very pleased to read that you enjoyed your holiday at the villa and would be pleased to welcome you back.

Beautiful Villa Left on Jul 23, 2023 for a stay in Jul 2023 We stayed here in July 2023. The villa is absolutely beautiful and so spacious. The sea views are amazing and the pool was a gorgeous temperature. The pool and area is cleaned every day and everywhere is spotless. Kalkan is about a 10 minute walk away, with lots of beautiful restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa.

Perfect Holiday Villa in Kalkan We had a fantastic time staying at Villa Kahili. It’s in a great location, just a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, and 15 minutes to the Old Town and Harbour. The Villa is really spacious and had all the equipment you needed, with nice thoughtful touches throughout. There is also plenty of outdoor space and the pool was perfect. Would highly recommend to families and couples wishing to have a home from home holiday in Kalkan

Lovely Well Equipped Villa Left on Jul 14, 2023 for a stay in Jun 2023 We booked the villa for a girls holiday & couldn’t have chosen better. The villa was spacious & well equipped with comfy beds & a good kitchen. We loved the outside dining area & made good use of the roof terrace for evening drinks, with its lovely views out to sea. The pool area was great for chilling, with enough sun & shade for us all throughout the day. The host was really accommodating, replying to messages quickly & helping with our taxis, booking a local firm for us who were great. It was a 10 min downhill walk into Kalkan centre or £5 in a taxi on the return if you don’t fancy the climb.

5/5 Amazing Villa, more than we had hoped for! We stayed here for two weeks with our two children at this beautiful villa. It was just perfect, well kept and large. The views were so pretty and it was a quiet location within walking distance to all the lovely restaurants. We were so happy with this villa and it was definitely more than we had expected, facilities were great and the pool surroundings were private and pretty. Sheila was great and got back to us really quickly on transfers and any other queries we had. Would definitely recommend this villa to others! 08/12/2019 at 2:31 PM You responded on 08/16/2019 at 2:56 PM Thank you very much Gemma for spending the time to write a review. Chester, United Kingdom What a lovely place Left on Aug 23, 2019 for a stay in Aug 2019 From booking this villa I had nothing but issues at my end and Sheila was so helpful and never once told me anything was a problem, she was patient with me and my constant emails to her. We arrived to a really lovely homely and nicely decorated villa, we had a welcome pack and all instructions were written clearly. The Villa had everything we could need and was so well equipped, even down to hand soaps in the bathrooms. There was a mid week linen and towels change and the pool was tended to everyday. We walked into town in 10 minutes, we had some really lovely evenings in the private and non overlooked garden, The BBQ was easy to use and cleaned out once used. All in all I cannot fault this villa, it is a lovely place Thank you. Your response: "Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review it is very much appreciated. We hope to welcome you back to the villa in the near future."

DELIGHTFUL VILLA Beautiful gardens and pool. All facilities provided for. Well kept comfortable villa and very clean..Location very nice with spectacular view over Kalkan bay. Could do with a light next to outside key safe as this is hard to see in the dark. Road outside villa can be very noisy due to passing traffic and very steep to walk. Roads down t o town very steep although this is typical of Kalkan you can easy find quick routes down. Taxis back to villa very cheap so no problem. Close local shops about 5mins walk. We have been in love with Kalkan for 4years and never disappointed Kalkan town is a lovely place easy to relax and enjoy lots of super restraunts bars and shops to wind away the evening . 06/15/2019 at 2:05 PM
