Stunning clifftop apartment in Mavishir waterfront next to Altinkum in a lovely turkish village with lovely views of the Aegean. 2 bed in large complex with 4 pools, restaurant , bar and minimarket.
Overview
This is a modern and spacious 2 bed apartment with all mod cons. It is located on the ground floor therefore very suitable for families with small children.
It has two large patio areas one with pool view and one with side sea view. 350 meters from local beach or 5 mins walk. There are 3 large beaches in Altinkum which can be reached by local dolmus. There are a variety of watersports available at these.
There is 24 hour security on the complex with cctv in the security hut and gates leading to the complex.
On site there are four swimming pools, two with pool bars so the other two pools tend to be very quiet if peace and quite are what you are after.
Altinkum area
Altinkum is located in a bay on the western coast of Turkey, it boasts a fantastic climate and incredibly picturesque beaches and coastlines adorning the clear blue aegean sea.
The area is a popular resort for both western and turkish people and has an arrea of attractions for people and families of all ages.
As a holiday resort Altinkum is well established with lots of facilities, beach and restaurants.
There is a very good local bus service called the Dolmus which operates from the outside the property and also the end of the road so a car is not necessary.
Apartment details
There are 2 hotel style rooms with both double and single beds in each spacious room, a seperate kitchen, bathroom and very spacious lounge. There is a minimarket, restaurant and bar on site as well as two pool bars which serve snacks.
There is a new waterpark 5 mins away by dolmus or taxi..
The Appollo temple is 5 mins away and the area is known for its archarological sites and ancient curtural history. Throughout the season this lovely and relaxed village comes to life. There is a local market near the complex which opens every evening selling a variety of food and other goods.
For families
There are kiddies pools next to main pools, there are a selection of toys, pool toys, playstation 2 with games, dvds, colouring pens,a stroller for up age 5, a bouncer chair and bath chair for babies.

Enjoyed our stay at Royal Blue. Property was basic but clean. Bathroom and toilet badly need refurbishing . We were unable to get the stain out of the toilet or bath. Would like to return. Mavishir is a lovely area. The staff at The Royal Blue Restaurant were excellent with great food and reasonably priced.

We were very impressed with our Cliff Top Apartment, Clean comfortable and well maintained. The complex is also immaculate with what looked like 24hr security (although not sure this was needed)
We were 4 hours delayed on arrival and so didnt get to the apartment till 1.00am however Steve was waiting for us and even the bar were happy to serve us a few cold drinks.
The apartment is set above a beautiful harbor of Maviser with the most amazing sunsets and there is a fantastic local bus service which will take you to the more livelier Venus.
As a family with mixed age groups we were all really happy with the apartment and as our first time in Turkey we found this to be a great experience,we shall be booking next year

This is the third year we have booked this Appartment and what more can I add to what we have said before over the last two years . Great location for any one wanting a great base to explore the local areas five minutes walk or bus ride to the sleepy fishing village of mavishir evening market daily and four or five lovely little restaurants and the sunsets there are to be seen by all or a half hour bus ride to the the hustle of altinkum plenty supermarkets and shops new marina and local shopping centre . The site has four great pools plenty sun beds and the time we were there it was like having our own villa it was that peacefull and quiet . Lovely residents and staff who all help should you have any issues . Great value for money loads of space big bedrooms well fitted out big kitchen area and living room super big balcony to eat out on I overlooking the pool area if you want to eat in .the owner replies to all our queries ASAP and cannot do enough to make your stay a great experience .and your breakages deposit is refunded within a week Would recommend this Appartment to any one without hesitation

I was having necessary major dental surgery in Altinkum and needed somewhere quiet and comfortable and more importantly with some privacy. Nora assured me this apartment was ideal and would give me the privacy I needed. She was right. The apartment is excellent all round. Home from home and very comfortable and spacious with everything you would need. I always take my own travel hairdryer even if there is one provided as I use a diffuser. I couldnt believe it when I opened the drawer to find the hairdryer complete with diffuser. Thats a first and it just made me smile. Not important to everybody but it was for me and was just another plus. The complex is lovely and the restaurant and bar will be opening all year round. Another big plus is that the dolmus to Didim and Altinkum stops right outside. I cannot fault this apartment in any way and it exceeded my expectations and needs. I have to go back to the dentist in Altinkum in six months time and will be booking this apartment. I wouldnt even go to the trouble of looking for something else. We loved it and also loved the price which took the sting out of the cost of my dental surgery. Pardon the pun. Thanks Nora.

There is air con in bedrooms and lounge which also provides heating. There is a playstation with games for children as well as a selection of dvds. There is a large patio with seating for 6 with 2 sunbeds and a medium balcony off the kitchen , each bedroom also has french balconys. There are view over the pool and the countryside as well as a side sea view. Each bedroom has a double as well as a single bed so in total the apartment can sleep 8.
