Overview

To comply with the new regulations regarding rental properties in Turkey all the legal paperworks have been applied for.

We fell in love with this part of Turkey as soon as we visited it. Dalyan has a delightful combination of the traditional and the new, hosting first class restaurants and traditional pancake houses. The village nestles in the mountainous region of Mugla and local people are extremely friendly.

Dalyan is convenient for Dalaman airport being only 25 minutes away and which has recently been upgraded and is open all year round.

The local area
The river Dalyan meanders past the 4th century rock tombs carved out of stone to the stunning sand bank of Turtle Beach. This beach is famous for being one of the remaining nesting areas for the endangered Loggerhead turtle as well as providing safe bathing for children. The views on the journey to the beach by boat or dolmus are stunning. In Spring and early Summer storks from Africa settle in Dalyan to breed and raise their young. The area has much to offer those who are interested in nature and wildlife.

Travelling around
The local bus (dolmus) or boat services are excellent so it is unnecessary to hire a car unless you wish to explore further afield. There’s plenty to do and see in the Dalyan locality and there are an abundance of excellent restaurants in which to eat.

Car and scooter hire is very reasonably priced or, if you prefer, you could use the pedal bikes provided at the villa and see the countryside at a more leisurely pace.

Villa Yalicapkini complies with new Turkish regulations requiring that the property and guests are registered.

We do not accommodate hen, stag, wedding parties or groups of young people under the age of 30.

The single beds in bedroom 3 can be pushed together to make a double bed.

Glynis was a super host and very helpful with helping us to arrange transfers and offering advice and tips on the area.
The Villa is very spacious. The bedrooms are an excellent size and well equipped. Air con in all the rooms.
The living area downstairs was equipped with everything to make it a home from home.
We love having the use of washing machine when away is it cuts down on the clothes to take.
The pool was nice and warm and the little dip pool to the side would be a nice thing to use if you were to have smaller kids.
It was too hot for us to make use much use of the garden but the grass area is huge and good size for playing football.
The veranda is a lovely area to sit and relax out of the sun and to sit in during the evening.
Literally about 5 minute walk to nearest supermarkets and not much more than that to the town centre.
I would highly recommend to anybody looking to stay in Dalyan.

There was 6 of us staying at this beautifull villa, with 2 children aged 8 and 11 we had a great 2wks, with everything you need right down to games for the kids. The girls had a great time in the pool . Glynis was very helpful leaving loads of information, also arranging airport transport. Nice little stroll to shops, excellent restraunts,we particuly liked the steak house, Ali's and the secret garden,Ley Leys do a free pick up, if there are 6 dining. Turtle beach is a must, great fun ,lovely relaxing trip there on Dalyon River, we also went on the dolmus which brings you near the turtle rehabilitation centre. Saturday market loads of genuine fakes, try haggling prices all good banter. We would certainly recommend this villa .

Absolutely amazing !! From day 1 this property was easy to rent from the owners fast responses to the enquiries we had. We booked early January for the September and were very satisfied with them keeping in touch through email about everything we needed for our holiday. The villa is outstanding, the attention to detail is far better than any other we have stayed in Dalyan. It's also within walking distance to the local shops and main strip of the town . The pool and gardens are maintained to a very high standard. The local people are very friendly and the area is nice and peaceful. If you come here you must try the pancake house on the river (strawberry and chocolate was my favourite). I always try to find some criticism to put on these reviews but can honestly say this had nothing wrong at all. Thanks Glynis and Steve for a lovely relaxing fortnight. We hope to be back very soon.

A Dalyan gem. Excellent property in a good location.

We've just returned from the most fabulous holiday in Villa Yalicapkini. It is a beautiful home fully equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday. The villa is huge! Plenty of space for everyone. Pool is beautiful and all the garden areas are well kept and green. From my first enquiry through to our departure Glynis has been extremely helpful and kind , always taking time to answer any questions. We all hope to return in the future.

From the moment of booking, arrival and departure everything ran extremely well. Communication with Glynis was first rate, the villa had everything needed, the layout was well thought out and the pool was great. We will certainly return to this villa if we get the chance.

Beautiful property. Stayed here for a couple of weeks during our first visit to Turkey. Lovely clean home with a spacious feel. Great location, we found numerous ways of wandering into town ! Nice private pool area that was well kept and the garden area next to it was a useful play area and added to the villa’s privacy. Dalyan has a vast array of restaurants and cafes, everyone was genuinely friendly. Glynis was a delight to deal with, good communication and she organised our transfers. I’d have no problem highly recommending this villa to family and friends.

A fantastic and well equipped villa that feels like home from the moment you open the door. It is perfectly positioned close to town. The pools are amazing and a joy to return to after fascinating days out exploring all that Dalyan and the surrounding areas has to offer. There is so much to see and do. You can't visit Dalyan without going on a boat trip to explore the coastline and Mesut's boat is highly recommended. The lunch is amazing using produce carefully prepared from the family's small holding. You must visit the beach and have a choice of public boat or bus or for the adventurous you can go down one way and back the other walking the length of the beach ( 45 minutes) with a well deserved swim stop or two on the way. There are many trips on offer. Volkan's tours are special, he is extremely knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make your day perfect and you will want to book more. There is a fantastic choice of restaurants serving a variety of well cooked food. Beyaz Gul overlooking the tombs is magical. Mai serves amazing steaks with a variety of sauces. A very special evening is eating out on Radar Mountain watching the sun set on another day in paradise. Sunset restaurant has a perfect setting for this as does Sahin Tepesi for which you will be picked up at the villa and dropped off at the end of the evening. A truly special end to the day is jumping on a boat and going up and down the river looking at the stars and the Milky Way. Whatever you choose to do you will thoroughly enjoy your time and I have already recommended a stay to family and friends.

Excellent villa and owner. We had a fabulous holiday in the villa. Everything you need is provided and because you are close enough to shops and restaurants, without really knowing it, it is ideally located. Glynis, the owner, is the real treasure as she is really nice and straightforward. No question is too much trouble and her responses are very prompt and her advice and recommendations are great. We will look forward to stay here again on our next trip to Dalyan.

Fabulous villa and holiday. This was our first time in a villa and in Turkey; both of which we enjoyed immensely . The villa was extremely well equipped and spacious. As a family we enjoyed the freedom it gave us to eat what and when we wanted ( although the restaurants in Dalyan were all superb ). We took a couple of boat trips which were fantastic. Overall a brilliant and relaxing holiday enjoyed by us all !

Anita M Aug 2017

Comfortable, well equipped and within walking distance of the town. Ideally situated away from the hub bub but within walking distance of everything that is needed.

Travelled as a couple on 12/6/17 for 2 weeks. No probs with the transfers or maintenance of the villa. Very clean, great location, private surroundings. Can only confirm what previous guests have already said. Would recommend.

Perfect family holiday. We stayed in this beautiful villa for 12 nights in May / June 2017. We have three children ( aged 4, 7 and 11 ) and the villa was perfectly equipped for our family with a cupboard full of outdoor toys and games and of course the generously sized swimming pool just outside the front door. The villa was spotlessly clean on our arrival and we were impressed with the size of the villa and gardens - our boys had plenty of room to run around and play during our stay without disturbing anyone. Glynis was a wonderful host, sending us lots of tips and recommendations for our stay in Dalyan in the weeks before our holiday so that we had a long list of things to do when we arrived. The villa felt very private and quiet, even though it was just a 10 minute stroll into Dalyan which had plenty going on to keep us entertained and lots of places to eat delicious food - we didn't have a single bad meal during our stay. Dalyan itself boasts several supermarkets, butchers, several bakeries, a pharmacy ( make sure you get some Sinkov to deter the mosquitos ) lots of cafes and restaurants, boat trips, markets, walks, and Turtle beach which is a short 20 minute bus ride away. Everything we could need was literally on our doorstep, making our holiday very easy and relaxing. We would highly recommend staying in Villa Yalicapkini in Dalyan for a relaxing family holiday ! We can't wait to come back.

This was our second visit to this lovely villa and once again we were not disappointed. The villa is situated on a quiet road but literally only a few minutes walk into Dalyan centre. The villa is beautifully appointed, very well equipped and exceptionally clean. There is a generously sized veranda where we enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the fantastic pool area. The area around the pool feels very private and the extra lawned garden area at the side is great for a game of boules ! We were impressed by the owners recommendations for trips out and restaurants of which there are many. The food in the restaurants and cafes is really good and reasonably priced. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets close by and the Turkish people were very friendly and helpful. The owners arranged our transfers to and from the airport which worked well. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and hope to visit again next year.

An excellent villa, close to the town centre. Quiet location. Well maintained and well equipped. Especially the water cooler and safe. The description on the web site does not do it justice and I would definitely recommend this villa to or friends and hope to return soon.

Whilst we had stayed in Dalyan several times this was our first villa holiday and we were not disappointed. The villa is very well located, light and spacious, and well appointed with a lovely pool and terrace for breakfast etc. It was just a few minutes walk into town, so convenient for Dalyan's wonderful restaurants. We also used the bikes for exploring the local countryside, which is beautiful. The owner, Glynis, provided us with a very useful guide to the villa, Dalyan and local sights and events, which was very handy, and we would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to others.

Margaret L Aug 2015

The accommodation is well maintained and clean. Transfers are arranged by the owners and on time. The villa is within 10 mins walk of Dalyan where a variety of restaurants and shops can be found. The owners suggested and booked excellent day trips that were most enjoyable. The villa is secluded from the road and has plenty of space for relaxing by the pool and has a fantastic large garden. Children and adults are well catered for with many games and activities provided along with guide books, local information and suggested places to eat. I would recommend the villa to friends and family and intend returning myself next Summer.

Pamela S Aug 2015

This villa provided outstanding accommodation to our stay in Dalyan. It is situated in an ideal location within easy walking distance of the river and all of the amenities in Dalyan. The villa is very spacious and furnished to the highest specification. In addition the pool and grounds are as beautiful as they appear in the photograph. The owners are exceptionally helpful and the transfers to and from the airport all ran very smoothly. I would certainly recommend this property to friends and relatives and hope to return there myself in the near future.

Jayne W May 2015

A lovely private villa, well equipped with all the things you need during your stay especially for a toddler. The pool is lovely and inviting and looks nice lit up at night whilst dining on the covered terrace which is fantastic in the daytime for playing with the little ones in the shade. The gardens are well kept with beautiful flowers. The villa is clean, comfortable and spacious. A short walk from the town with so many restaurants to choose from and shops, supermarkets and a weekly local market.

Irene C Apr 2015

We last stayed in Villa Yalicapkini in April 2015. This was our fourth visit to this beautiful villa. It is in an excellent location for all that Dalyan has to offer including the beach, the river and the rock tombs and is only a ten minute gentle stroll to the bars and restaurants. During our stay we found the villa to be extremely clean, well maintained and fully equipped with everything you need. We particularly enjoy sitting in the kirsch having aperitifs watching the sun go down. We hope to return again and would fully recommend Villa Yalicapkini to anyone who is thinking of going to Dalyan.

We made our initial visit to Dalyan 14 years ago and just fell in love with the town, the surrounding area and the Turkish culture. So impressed were we that we bought a villa and now visit Dalyan at least four times a year. It is our home in the sun. We adore it and hope that you will too.
