Enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday in Villa Diana, a luxury 4 bedroom detached triplex villa with private pool and garden. The villa is built in a Greco-Roman style with feature pillars, arches and decorations. Villa Diana is situated in a quiet residential part of Calis, but still close to local amenities, such as the beach, dolmus route, shops and restaurants. The immediate surrounding area is semi-rural and is a mixture of newer holiday homes and established Turkish houses. You will therefore experience the sights, sounds of Turkish life. Please note that a new mosque has recently been built nearby.
There is a mini-market and a Migros about 5 minutes walk, just across the main Calis road. Here you can buy pretty much everything you need. The beach (at the Wonder Beach end) is an easy 10 minute flat walk. Enjoy the mountain views from the rear of the villa and the beautiful sunsets from the front roof terrace. Laze around the 30 sq metre pool on the cushioned sun loungers and enjoy a BBQ meal on the terraces. The villa has a private gated driveway. The garden and pool are maintained daily (except Sundays). If booking for 2 weeks, there is a mid holiday linen change. A welcome pack is provided.
The swimmimg pool is available throughout the May to October season.

Local Area
The villa is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Turkey. Fethiye is set in a pretty bay surrounded by pine-clad mountains and overlooking the 12 islands of the bay. It has a busy attractive harbour with excellent boat trips to be had day or night, plenty of good restaurants, and a weekly Tuesday market, to catch a bargain. Nearby is Olu Deniz, the famous nature reserve and beach. If youre looking for lively nightlife, Hisaronu is within easy reach of Fethiye.
Calis is a small, resort with a lovely promenade, complete with bars, restaurants and shops where you can spend many happy evenings watching the sun go down. There is a long, sand and shingle beach from where you can watch spectacular sunsets. A dolmus minibus picks you up from the end of the road, near the villa, if you want to go into Fethiye, Hisaronu or Olu Deniz. From the beach area a regular Water Taxi service runs to Fethiye, where there are various boat trips on offer, including the wonderful 12 islands cruise.
NB The villa is situated is a mixed area of holiday and local houses, so you will/may hear noises from animals kept by locals, including cows, sheep, goats and chickens.

Thank you for a lovely break at Villa Diana. We all enjoyed it immensely. We are regulars to Calis but had not been to Villa Diana before. It was all we wanted it to be and would love to stay again.
Desree (local agent) was superb. She booked a couple of hire cars and an extra taxi for us and always seemed to be available. This helped make our stay even better. The Turkish neighbours were also very friendly.
The pool and seating area were ideal. Sitting out at night was so relaxing so after 24 nights here it was difficult to return home.

We have just spent 3 weeks at Villa Diana and are definitely going back.
Desree , local agent, was very helpful with anything we needed to know and was always on the end of the phone.
The villa had everything that we needed. There is a covered outside eating area with plenty of sun beds, seating and parasols to use around the pool. The pool was cleaned daily and there is an outside shower to use. The garden is well tended and looks beautiful. Inside there is an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with water cooler. There is everything you need in the kitchen and all rooms have updated air conditioning units. The upstairs bathroom is large and has a shower and separate bath. This villa is a hidden gem amongst local Turkish families. It is a 10 minute walk to local supermarket, Migros and a 15 minute walk into Calis . This was a pleasant walk alongside the river.
The sun was on the pool all day, the shaded area was a great place to take a little time out.
The owner Pete was very quick to reply to inquiries and helpful.
Transfers to and from the airport were faultless.
Looking forward to our next visit 😎

We have recent come back from a fantastic holiday and stay at Villa Diana. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa home from home. The villa is close enough to the restaurants/bars and beach but far enough away to relax around the pool. The transfers were excellent and value for money. The communication was brilliant any questions we had were dealt with promptly. We would recommend this villa to other families and i am sure we will return again for another holiday in the near future.
Thank you.

We had a lovely time at Villa Diana this summer in June. The travel company gave us friendly transport from the airport. On arrival it was dark so couldn't make out where we were, but pulling up to the Villa our first impressions were the photos on this booking site do not do the place justice. It was stunning all lite up and the swimming pool was just so inviting we couldn't wait to dip our feet in.
We were meet at the villa by Desree and her daughter with lovely friendly smiles and they both made a fuss over my friends little girl. Desree showed us round and brought out the spare bed for Millie in case she wouldn't sleep up stairs.
The bedrooms were clean and the front bedroom over looks the pool. (The light above the balcony can be turned off by a switch behind the dressing table in front of the window). This bedroom also had its own bathroom with shower. The second bedroom was bigger and could take the spare bed, it over looked the mountains and local housing. All views were stunning especially the top floor room sun terrace, this was a great place to catch some sun if you don't mind the heat.
There are a number of local shops near to the Villa who are very friendly and helpful, this also deliver and can be contacted via Whats app if you want to order a take away too. We would advise that you put a deposit down on a water pump and the very large bottles of water as this will save you time and money in the long run.
The Villa has some lovely neighbours who are friendly, there are three local cats who like to sleep on the chairs on the terrace. These are very friendly when they get to know you but do try to get into the Villa if you leave the door open. We left a box of cat biscuits in the cupboard in the kitchen for the next visitors to feed them. There are a number of animals in the grounds of the small Turkish houses around and can be a little noisy at times from them.
The first day we tried to use the cooker but it blew the fuses which was connected to the fridge. Desree quickly got a man out to sort the cook out as i needed the fridge on for my medication. Just to note the fan does stay on for over 30 mins once turned off and does stay hot for quite a while unlike most English cookers. All con units finally worked by the end our holiday but the company did clean every filter grid when fixing the second bedroom unit.
The Swimming pool was lovely so good not having to get up at silly o'clock to get a sunbed, and you could stay in the pool for as long as you wanted without it being closed. The grounds of the villa has some lovely plants with beautiful flowers on them. The covered areas to the right of the pool as you look at the villa was well worth putting up, this had a table and chairs underneath which we used the most.
The walk to the shops took about 10 minutes and you can reach the beach front from many directions. The weather was amazing which helped us all enjoy some well deserved rest at the Villa.
The only thing I would now advise is when you check out if you have a late flight like we did try and book an extra night otherwise you would need to be out in time for them to clean. Desree was amazing and helped us get a room in a hotel on the beach front on our last day as our late check out changed as someone booked in straight after us.
We would love to return to Calis again in the future and would recommend staying at Villa Diana its location is perfect and a lovely little villa to create amazing memories in.
Peter the owner was very informative and answered questions even when we were at the Villa. Thank you Peter
