Overview

Three bedroom apartment in Calella, fully equipped, just one hour away from Barcelona city and airport, a two minute walk to the beach, and close to all amenities, making the perfect destination for a relaxing, comfortable holiday.

It has a 25mt pool and breath-taking views. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped; the balcony has stunning views. Also, a great dining area, equipped new kitchen, utility room. The rooms are comfortable. Perfect place for family with children or just adults, accommodates 5 people.

It is situated on the 3rd floor. The building is very secure with an elevator and keys to enter the building and the pool area. You will be greeted by Montse which will show you through the apartment and all you need to know to feel comfortable, secure and ready to relax and enjoy your stay.

Being just 10 10-minute walk to amenities, this place is just perfect to find quiet when needed. Calella is located on the North side of Spain therefore, the climate is very pleasant in summer. In winter, it is cold but sunny, and the apartment has central heating in every room.

Things to do in and around Calella: Waterpark (Waterworld) in Lloret Del Mar. This is a full day out for the family (30mins by car or you can arrange transport from most of the larger hotels nearby). Tossa Del Mar. This town is about 30 minutes north of Calella. There is a great café next to the castle at the top of the hillside overlooking the beach. There are lots of beach bars along the seafront. Most nightclubs in Callela cater for teenagers, adults are better off in the chiringuito (beach bars), “mature" adults go to La Cuadra!
For a short or long break and even off-season, there is plenty to do in Calella, like the Silent Spa just opposite the apartment. Barcelona City is only one hour away on the other side of Calella; the Botanical Gardens in Blanes are a must-visit. The Pyrenees are perfect for skiing in winter or outdoor activities in summer, only 2 hours away by car from Calella.

Amazing apartment with large swimming pool, sea-view, and short walk to the beach! The flat was really spacious, clean, and had all the facilities that we needed. There is also a huge balcony with a great view of the sea, lighthouse, and swimming pool below. The swimming pool is huge and accessible from the ground floor with a key. We were lucky to find a free parking spot across the road (visible from the balcony). The beach is only a short walk away from the flat. The beach is great, and wasn't overcrowded. It's also only a short walk away up the hill to the historic lighthouse, with some great views of Calella. The flat is also walking distance away from shops and the town center (and a 15 minute walk to the train station if you want to take the train to Barcelona). Last, but not least, the host was friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider coming back. Hard to say, as we had such a great time.

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Calella, very close to the beach. Shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The apartment is very well equipped. The sunbathing lawn with pool is also very easy to use.

Our stay in the apartment was quite comfortable. There were a lot of little things that made the stay better (there was even a beach umbrella). Good location - very close to the sea. I really liked that there was a swimming pool in the yard, access to which was only available to residents of the building. Wonderful view of the sea and the pool from a luxurious balcony, where you can comfortably spend time.

4 people in March for 8 nights The apartment is located in a high-rise building in close proximity to the beach and sea. Apparently, the high-rise building is mainly inhabited by locals. The view from the balcony is very beautiful. You can see the sea and some of the beach hustle and bustle. There is a wicker seating area on the balcony. There are also folding chairs and another table on the balcony. In the corner you have privacy from other residents. It can get very windy on the balcony. An awning can be extended. There are three rooms. The mattresses are so-so. Sometimes too hard or too soft. A matter of perception. There are enough cupboards. There are beach supplies, extra blankets, and pillows littering the cupboards everywhere. Each guest receives a large towel upon arrival. Beds are made. If you're cold, you should take a really warm blanket with you. The communication with the landlord was very good. It was very easy to communicate in English. Questions were answered very quickly. There were free drinks and snacks as a welcome. At the beginning we discovered a defect in a shower hose. It was repaired the same day. Perfect. The lady who met us in the apartment on the first day didn't speak English, but with the help of a translator she managed. The nearest supermarket is only a 3.40-minute walk away and is very well-stocked. It is open every day. The train station is about a 25-minute walk away. There are free parking spaces opposite the tracks, but if you arrive too late you may be out of luck. Then there is the beach parking lot. From the parking lot it is a short walk to the train station. The journey to Barcelona costs around €6 one way for one person. Trains run every 30 minutes. A seat is not always guaranteed. The WiFi was excellent. Even if four people used it at the same time. We were also able to watch German streaming services smoothly on the laptop we brought with us.

The kitchen had all the amenities for cooking. The rooms were clean and a decent size.The view from the terrace is wonderful.

I first visited Calella in 2000 and I fall in love with this small, traditional, cool little town. Everything is walking distance, it is safe and full of interesting places to eat, drink, walk, cycle, and visit close by towns.
