From the villa call El Jaguel you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the North of Tenerife; the Teide, the imposing volcano that dominates the landscape, the sea and the neighboring island of La Palma.

Overview

The surroundings:
Supermarkets: The two nearest are in Tacoronte, Mercadona and Lidl. Going up to the cafeteria La Baranda take to the left, pass two roundabouts and arrive at Tacoronte, (bar La Estación) turn left (road of Tejina) and five hundred metres ahead, on the right side, are both of them.

The neighbourhood: The House is reached via the TF-5, the road that connects the capital of the island with tourist Puerto de la Cruz, take exit 19, El Sauzal and 200 meters towards the sea. It is on the brink of a depression, so nothing hidden landscape. It is shortly after the Casa del Vino, museum mounted in a 17TH century mansion, where you can do wine tasting and you can eat at a nice restaurant run by its owner, a French chef. In the courtyard, during the summer, concerts of classical music are offered.
Next to the highway is the cafeteria La Baranda, with its sunny terrace and its panoramic lounge where there are dance evenings. It is a place highly frequented by tourists who come to take pictures or simply enjoy the views. The area where our House is is an oasis located closes everything, in the village of El Sauzal, high over the sea level, where you will find the necessary for your comfort staying isolated from noise and crowds.
Across the road, everything is a few minutes away by car. Paradisiacal beaches, golf courses, supermarkets, Mercadillos del Agricultor, stores, bars, restaurants, historic villages and towns such as La Orotava and La Laguna, city patrimony of the humanity, and the Puerto de la Cruz, first tourist resort of Spain, where Loro Parque offers, in addition to its complete collection of animals, its Thai architecture and its well-tended gardens, performances by dolphins, killer whales, seals and, of course, the animals that provide its name, parrots.
The city of Santa Cruz, with cruise ships moored in the port, the Avenue de Anaga, the typical restaurants of "Calle de la Noria", Auditorium Adán Martin, work of the prestigious architect Santiago Calatrava, and stores such as El Corte Inglés, is worth a visit. Following through the Avenue de Anaga is reached the beach of Las Teresitas and the neighbourhood of San Andres, where you can taste different varieties of fish and then upload the Bailadero through to the massif of Anaga and return home by La Laguna. It is a recommended journey

Activities and attractions
Tenerife is a small continent that has all climates due to its geographical position. So it is not strange wakeup in winter morning to play with snow in the Cañadas del Teide (National Park) and in the afternoon enjoy the Sun on the beaches of Puerto de la Cruz. It is also possible to enjoy a man-made Lake designed by the Canarian artist César Manrique and try your luck in the Casino.
There is also a pitch and Putt golf course. Its tourist town character is reinforced by the amount of people from across Europe that transits it at day and night. It has large number of restaurants with all kinds of meals.
It is worth visiting El Monasterio restaurant, in the neighbouring municipality of Los Realejos. A complex of several restaurants in typical canarian architecture, While in Tenerife a visit to the Cañadas del Teide where a cableway leads up to the crater of the volcano is essential and get up to the Parador Nacional to see from there the Ucanca Valley. A volcanic landscape unique in Europe.
Golf lovers have courses to choose where play all year being the oldest El Peñón, a few minutes from the villa. There is also the Buenavista del Norte, designed by Severiano Ballesteros, and several more in the South of the island .Already somewhat further away, in the South, although always by motorway we have the tourist development of the Americas, San Eugenio and Torviscas with wide beaches, good infrastructure and aquatic activities.
But best of all that, while in the North, explore the back roads and discover the typical food of the island sites, the "guachinches", where for very little money you can enjoy a friendly atmosphere and excellent local wine.
Finally it is compulsory to try the fish. A good place can be Los Abrigos, a sailor village in the South, where some restaurants open their terraces above the sea Bon appétit

Our holiday in Maximiliano house was simply amazing: Maximiliano is a great host, he made us feel at home right away and is always available when you need his help or advice. He is very well organised, contact with him was easy right from the start and he speaks many languages.
The house is a gem of fantastic architecture filled with treasures and memorabilia. The splendid view from the two terraces, the lovely garden and swimming pool, everything in this place makes you want to stay! It has also all the practical services you need: gated parking, washing machine, barbecue, sauna...
We were a family of 8 including 2 young kids (watch out for the open staircase and swimming pool) all of use had a fantastic time and would heartily recommend Maximilianos house. And we are really looking forward to coming back ourselves! Thanks again for the great time.

It is treatment that my guests feel. You missed to say that your father celebrated his birthday on the terrace with garlands and illuminated GlobesA bientot

We had a wonderful time in Maxs beautiful home. The views from the house of Mt Tiede are stunning and we had regular sundowners on the balcony watching spectacular sunsets. A hire car is essential and the northern part of the island is well worth exploring, local food is first class and Max had good recommendations for places to go. The house is beautifully decorated with wonderful art and does not lack for domestic essentials. Probably not a good place for small lively children as there is an open staircase within the villa.

Appreciation sent: 22 November 2012 Date of stay: October 2012 We rented the House for 4 adults and three children. This House is very large and allows each to have his privacy. The Red House is very beautiful and offers a very large confort. It has 3 spacious comfortable terraces for dining or for relaxation. The views of the ocean and Teide is a breathtaking! The garden and the swimming pool are a more immense, the barbecue area is really practical and very functional. We passed a very good stay here, the owner, Max, was adorable with us and told us quite nice places to visit.Proximity to motorway is significant and allows quick access everywhere. Great! Only good memories...!
