TWO BEDROOMED VILLA ON A QUIET COMPLEX WITH ITS OWN PRIVATE POOL. In
The Villa is situated in the La Chismosa area of Playa Flamenca on a quiet gated residential complex.
The complex is long established and has mature trees and well maintained garden areas and walkways.
Situated in a block of four the Villa but is not overlooked and remains very private and secluded.
The outside areas at the Villa are a particular feature. The ground floor terrace is fully tiled, has a dining table and a BBQ all under the shade of a mature fig tree. The whole area of the garden is surrounded with Cypress hedging.
The 6 metre by 4 metre L shaped pool has a stepped shallow end and a deep end of 1.8 metres. It is maintained weekly.
The front door of the Villa opens onto the Dining Room which in turn leads through to the Lounge, Kitchen and ground floor Bedroom One. Stairs up from the Dining Room lead to the second Master Bedroom.
There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the lounge on a coin meter.( to cover electricity cost only!)
We may be able to accommodate one or two additional children on request.
Less than a five minute walk is an outdoor swimming pool complex with a bar, dining facilities and crazy golf which can be accessed for a small daily fee.
The nearest bars and restaurants are a 5/6 minute stroll as is a small (corner shop type) supermarket. A wide range of larger well known supermarkets are less than 5 minutes in the car.
A longer walk of some 20 minutes will reach the more lively Zenia Boulevard complex with every shop, bar and restaurant combination you can imagine.A taxi back this summer (2018) was just over 9 euros.
Three Blue Flag sandy beaches are within a 5 minute drive - Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca (the nearest) and La Zenia. All have a bar right on the beach, you can hire sunbeds and there is plenty of space for ball games. La Zenia is particularly good for watersports and equipment hire.
To fully enjoy your stay at this villa we recommend car hire.
We provide all linen and towels (except beach towels) for your stay.
The Fig Tree Villa has a wood burning stove in the Dining Room and underfloor heating in the ground floor bedroom, kitchen and lounge which makes this an ideal choice for the slightly chillier months in Spain.
As we operate touristic accommodation we are required by Spanish law to supply the Guardia Civil with the personal data of each of our paying holiday rental guests over the age of 16 years within 24 hours after their arrival. To this end we will send you a link after booking confirmation to Check In Scan which allows a quick scan of ID documentation and guest signature.

Both our Villas are situated on quiet residential complexes so not suitable for lively, noisy holidays and we do not accept young same sex parties for this reason.

My wife and I stayed at the property for two weeks in June 2022. From the early enquiry about the property and throughout, Mark was on the ball in terms of communications, always available to answer any questions. We arrived about an hour and half early however, Marcella was great, took time to show us around and explain how everything worked. The villa itself is more rustic style downstairs and ultra modern upstairs with all the facilities you need for having a great holiday. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave (which lasted beyond our two weeks), so the immaculate pool was a godsend where we spent most afternoons dipping in and out. In the mornings, we took time for exploring the area and would recommend a visit to Villa Martin Plaza, what a stunning place, mostly bars/ restaurants in a beautiful setting. Locally there is a few bars/restaurants within a 5 minute walk as is the Saturday market. I think a car would be a necessity if you like exploring as there was no visible signs of a bus service. The local beaches, a 5/10 minute drive from the villa are stunning and kept very clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Fig Tree Villa.
Overall, can fault the holiday, we had a really good time, our thanks to both Mark and Marcella.
The villa looks just as in the photos, it's got all the facilities you need, perfectly clean (same goes for the pool), even smelled lovely! There is a free parking available and it's close enough to restaurants and shops. The owner was so helpful, we got directed to a different airport due to weather conditions and he offered to pick us up as it was late already and we have a toddler. He was also very flexible in terms of check out time. We had a lovely time at the villa and we cannot recommend it enough !
This villa is just perfect. From start to finish communication with mark was spot on and very informative and helpful. He arranged transfers for us without a hitch. The transfer guy Steve ( who was super friendly) even took us to Lidl and waited outside, on the way from the airport to the villa, so we could stock up for the weekend. He was great. He even helped us in with our shopping...
We arrived a little early at the villa and mark was there to welcome us and it wasn’t a problem.
The gas for the cooker ran out so we called mark and he was there within minutes with a new bottle. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it only added to our perfect little holiday.
I had the air con on all night over night in the upstairs bedroom and it cost less than 2 euros each night.
On arrival there was wine cider some soft drinks, bottled water and milk in the fridge and a huge bowl of fruit all as part of the welcome pack and then a selection of spirits in a basket ( which we didn’t drink) was available payable on a trust/donation basis. Which I thought was a lovely little touch.
In the kitchen there was cooking oil a variety of spices, salt and vinegar and a variety of sauces at our disposal. There was toilet roll washing powder DW tabs fairy etc. They also supplied bug sprays which came in handy.
There were sun longer towels as well as bath towels.
The Sonos music system was fab easy connection via the app on our phones. And works with Spotify free and premium as well as others.
The pool was big enough for us with our lilos and small enough that it kept warm overnight and was still warm early morning.
On our last day we were lucky enough to get a late check out as our flights were late that night and even though the cleaner arrived and we were still there having lunch it wasn’t a problem, she was lovely and went about cleaning around us. Very hospitable... We couldn’t recommend this villa and our hosts highly enough. Book it! you won’t be disappointed.
Just returned from a weekend stay at this beautiful villa can’t recommend highly enough .
Mark the owner is very friendly and ran us around for couple days for minimal cost nothing is too much trouble .
The villa is lovely and private with everything you need.
The area is great for a quiet break away but with enough walking distance or a 10 minute car ride away to have a bit of variety.
Would love to return cannot fault the communication,booking process and whole experience.

We stayed for the first 2 weeks of May and I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Everything about it was excellent from booking to key collection to the small attention to detail the owner goes through to make sure you have a welcoming and enjoyable stay. We have stayed in the general area loads of times but this was the best accommodation we have ever got. We will definitely be back next year.
