Traditional and beautifully furnished two bedroom detached villa with private heated pool, large patio area and sunny south facing garden. 150m away from supermarkets, restaurants and bars.

Overview

This 2 bedroomed villa was built in a typically Canarian style in 2005. It is detached and has off street parking to the front and a secure garden to the rear. The garden has a private heated pool, large patio area and barbecue. The villa has a south facing back garden that has sun all day. A table, chairs and sun loungers are provided. The inside of the villa is furnished to a very high standard and should cater for all of your home comforts. In the lounge you will find IPTV installed which is Sky TV (including sports) and thousands of other channels with on demand. There is also a CD and DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted and there is an outside utility room with a washing machine and drying facilities. Wifi is also included.

The villa is 3km from Corralejo, its not far but it is not possible to walk as the road has no foot paths and is not lit up in the evening. 150 metres from the villa is an excellent super market, a small Spanish restaurant/cafe/bar and an Italian restaurant/cafe/bar. Out side of the super market is the bus stop and taxi rank. A bus into town costs 1 euro 40 cents and they run every hour at half past the hour. There's a number to call for taxis, call the number and a taxi will come to collect you in less than 5 minutes. A taxi will cost around 8 euros into the centre of town.

We recommend that you hire a car to get the most out of Fuerteventura but it is not essential that you do so. You can hire a small car for around 90 euros per week. Arrange to pick it up and drop it off at the airport and the money you save on the taxi/transfer fares will almost pay for your car and you can use it every day if you wish to at no extra cost. The villa is approximately 25km from the airport and it takes about 20 minutes to drive.

Although there are 1 or 2 beaches in town, the majority of the beaches, and the sand dunes, are on the outskirts of Corralejo. If you were to stay in Corralejo town you would still need transport to get to most beaches. The villa is 5 minutes drive from the sand dunes and East coast beaches. 5 minutes drive from the North coast. 10 minutes drive from the West coast beaches and lagoons and 10 minutes drive from the mountains.

Just back from 9 night stay. Villa is lovely, with a good range of amenities. In a very peaceful and relaxing area. The pool was a god-send as the weather was fantastic. We used the BBQ to grill fresh fish from the local shop. The advert is entirely accurate in that it is not possible to walk into the town due to the roads, but I think you need a car to explore the island anyway. I would thoroughly recommend this villa for couples or small families.

Thank you for your review, it sums up the house and area perfectly. Buses and taxis are regular and cheap, but hiring a car is better as there's plenty to see and do and see around the Island
and the roads are immaculate to drive on.
Many thanks for your comments

villa was excellent, very modern and clean. outside space is very generous and the pool is phenomenal, very warm and just the right size.
villa would benefit greatly from having WIFI, we thought WIFI would be available as per the villa description, but this was that WIFI was available and payed separately.
location wise, the immediate amenities are a little limited, local supermarket somewhat basic and the bar shooters doesnt do breakfast etc. but only a 5 minute easy drive into the main strip of Coralejo, where there is everything you would need. i would recommend hiring a car, i had never driven abroad before but found it really easy as the roads are very good and traffic light..
overall a great villa with everything you would need and very good value for money, we would certainly consider staying there again in future.

ps. we managed to get both sky sports and movies on the tv, not sure if the owner is aware that they are available

Beautiful property, very clean and well kept. A bus ride from Corralajo which was a bit further than anticipated but with an hourly bus service and relatively cheap taxis, we were able to get about.
Supermarket is a 2 minute walk with a sports bar and cafe on the complex.
Marion was extremely friendly and helpful.
Many Thanks

Just arrived back after 10 days in this villa, the villa was spot on well maintained and had everything there for holiday taxi into town cost us about €6 and bus cost €1.40 we found the best beach to be near sand dunes and only cost €11 to get there by taxi the main corralejo town is nice pace with nice food and bars around we lived in rrock cafe bar for meals and night entertainment, overall the villa is a great villa if you hire a car. You maybe able to get more out. Of the island than we did for a excursion the excursion buggys is a must do trip! The oasis park is great aswell to swim with sea lions and see other animals. Thanks again for a great villa.

We have just returned from a week in this fantastic Villa. We thought the Villa was exceptional value for money, a big size and with a great family pool. The Villa had everything you want and we felt the location was also very good. We will be returning, thank you.

It had everthing that we needed and more. The facilities, sky tv, swimming pool, BBQ were fantastic. It is ideal for families or groups of friends. We would like to visit again, who knows we may make this place our annual holiday destination. We look forward to our next visit.

8- 15 April 2009 Casa Miguel v88 abingdon Review Submitted: April 24, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009 Casa miguel is exactly as it looks on the photos. It is well equipped, very much a home from home.Better than home according to my teenager!! The management company were quick to repond when we needed information. Its only a 5 minute drive from correlejo, although there is a frequent bus service onto the development. As a single parent I found it to be in a safe environment .The well stocked shop is within sight of the villa and the children enjoyed their daily visit and exploring locally.

Villa Casa Miquel Oska & Gordon RETFORD Review Submitted: February 5, 2010 Date of Stay: September 2009 We really enjoyed our holiday, I would say car hire is essential to get around the beautiful beaches, accomodatin was clean & tidy everything catered for and in a quiet location. Correlego has some fantastic restaurants about a 5-10 min drive in the car.

Casa Miguel. 2/4/08 - 12/4/08. DS1 UK Review Submitted: September 14, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008 We stayed in "Casa Miguel" for 10 nights in April 2008. The villa is beautiful, spacious, well equipped, a real home from home and the location is ideal, quiet and away from it all , but a short drive into Corrallejo. We have been to Fuerteventura a number of times, but this was our most enjoyable, relaxing from the moment we arrived. It was reasurring to have your Management Team at the end of the phone and the pool was kept clean for us. I am currently making arrangements with my Mum and her friend to visit the villa with us next year, so will be contacting you soon regarding booking. I think we have found our ideal base in Fuerteventura!! We had a BAD experience with a Travel Agent last year when we went to America, and am so pleased our first experience at "doing it ourselves" was such a positive one! Thank-you. Kind Regards, Diane

Lovely relaxing villa.. alfiebeef Lancashire uk Review Submitted: February 5, 2010 Date of Stay: November 2009 spotlessly clean and with all facilities needed for self catering. The patio area is ideal for sunbathing, with a small but clean pool. The villa is perfect for couples or families with older children who are not too bothered about having a beach on the doorstep. We found a car to be essential as its just that bit too far out for walking to Coralejo and all the restaurants and bars. There is a supermarket a stones throw away for essentials.

Casa Miguel in February Norman and Pam Northumberland UK Review Submitted: February 24, 2010 Date of Stay: February 2010 We came over to Fuerteventura to celebrate my 60th birthday and were absolutely delighted with Casa Miguel. The villa was spacious and comfortable and I would certainly recommend it to friends and family. For us the villa was ideally situated. A few minutes drive into Corralejo or head in the other direction to El Cotillo or to the hills. We dined at El Horno restaurant a couple of times having come across it while driving through Villeverde. Excellent food and made to feel welcome. A very enjoyable break, and we would certainly come back to the villa in future.

Had a great time the location was perfect everything you need at your door step. The villa was spotless very well maintained the pool was great deeper than we thought. we had everything we needed at the villa it was just amazing i would highly recommend it. its a very quite place good for relaxing but 5 mins away theres lots of things to do and the busy town it wins both ways :D Had a Fab time will be going back in the future.

We were very happy with the villkit exceeded our expectations as it was very clean, well maintained and well furnished/decorated- if anything the pictures shown do not do it justice. We were able 2 be in contact with both the owner and managers of the property, all of our queries were dealt with quickly and sufficiently. The location of the property was brilliant as it was only a short bus. Or taxi ride into town and there was a supermarket 1 minute away from the villa to suit our needs. We would definatly come again!

Born 1965 and brought up in Sheffield U.K. I am a qualified carpenter and builder by trade. I came to Jersey C.I in 1989 because of work and decided to stay. I like the quiet life and love to be near the beach so Jersey suits me. I have family who live in Lanzarote. I did not particularly want to be on their doorstep and I prefer to have a more relaxing holiday. Lanzarote is only 45 minutes on the ferry so it is no problem visiting each other when I stay in Corralejo. Fuerteventura is the last of the canaries to be developed and has therefore has learnt from the mistakes that the other Islands have made and not made the same mistakes. A lot of people who live and work in the other Islands take their holidays in Fuerteventura because of this. These are also the reasons why I chose Corralejo for my holiday home.
