Overview

This apartment, Casa Vela has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen and terrace with gorgeous views. The apartment also has air conditioning, wifi internet of 100mb, private parking, 2 communal swimming pools, communal gardens, communal solarium with fantastic views of the sea and a communal gymnasium. The apartment is located approximately 800 metres from the sea and is approximately 3.5km from the Marina. It is a approximately 10 minutes walk to bars, restaurants, and shops.

Benalmadena is a municipality of the province of Malaga, consisting of three main urban areas; Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel. The city of Malaga is about 12 km to the west, with Marbella to the East. The area has grown rapidly in recent decades due to tourism and has become one of the Costa del Sol's prime locations.

Benalmadena Costa is home to the majority of the areas attractions, the most important are the beautiful beaches.There are restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and the area retains a relaxed friendly atmosphere all year round.

With such a wide and varied array of activities and things to do, any visitor will be never have a moment of boredom when visiting Benalmadena, a town which is truly more then just a resort.

Places to visit

A promenade stretches along the coast to the Puerto Marina (Marine Port), which boasts excellent shopping and dining. The marina is also home to The Sea Life Centre, home to all types of marine wild life.

You can take a stroll around to look at the floating hotels and millionaire’s yachts and at night the Puerto Marina becomes a party zone.

La Paloma Park is a gorgeous location in the center of Benalmadena Costa. There is a stunning array of flora and fauna, plus a menagerie of animals including hens, rabbits, goats and exotic birds. The park is beautifully landscaped with themed gardens and rocky waterfalls, which run down to the lake. There are two bars within the park where you can relax into the evening listening to the calls of peacocks.

Beside La Paloma park, you can visit Selwo Marina, the sister to Selwo Adventure Park. Modeled around different locations in South America, you can view close up dolphins, sea lions, crocodiles, exotic birds and snakes. Recently a penguin habitation has been installed giving a glimpse of the Antarctic in Andalucia.

There is a large choice of Golf Courses in the Benalmadena area. Benalmadena enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and warm winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable; temperatures average 32 ºC during the summer.

Whilst sunbeds are not allowed at the pool areas, they are allowed on the communal roof terrace.

THINGS TO NOTE :

-Although final cleaning is included in the price, we ask all clients to leave the house as they found it.

-Monthly rentals (28 days or more) do NOT include electricity, gas bottles (if required) and pellets for the pellets stove. Electricity is charged at 0.45€/Kw.

-There is a refundable damage deposit of 500 euros to pay on arrival.
- The person making the reservation must be 25 years or over.

This is a fabulous apartment, with everything you could need for a holiday.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and we were met on time by our host.

The whole complex was clean and very tidy and the pool area could not be faulted, toilets and changing rooms right next to the pools. The gates are secure so only those living or staying there can access the place.
Our view over the gold course and routing was stunning and made a glass of wine on the balcony each evening all the more enjoyable.

The walk to the beach is down a fairly steep road but the small coves along the front are worth the walk back and each has its own bar, restaurant and toilets there.

The area is pretty quite but a taxi into town and to the Marina is a few euros and its nice to be away from the hustle and bustle during the day. The taxi rank is just around the corner and getting a taxi was easy.

We would definatley book this apartment again and our hosts were great at giving us any information we emailed for.

We were here for a month, and it was perfect. The location, the space, Sole, everything! The space is large and also the gym and the terrace we used a lot. We highly recommend it!!

Good apartment, equipped with the necessary and clean. It is as in the photos. It has a large terrace with good views. Regarding the facilities, it has a gym, which is usually empty, and a small but quiet swimming pool. In relation to the location, supermarket 5 min walk and several coves nearby that you can walk to. If you prefer the beach or go to the center it would be better to have a car. Good value for money. I would go back without a doubt
