The village is idyllic, with old stone houses of the last century, the canary authentic lifestyle.
The house is situated in the small village of Santa Lucia de Tirjana (in the heart of the island within 25 minutes drive from the beaches and 50 minutes south of the capital Las Palmas de Gran Canaria).
A 5-minute walk from the village center found. In it, there are 4 restaurants serving delicious food.
The artisan bakery bread made with wood, warm inviting eat before you get home.
There are 3 small grocery stores with all commodities, a pharmacy and a bank with ATM.
The Sunday morning market mounted a small farm where we can find and harvest fresh vegetables.
There is a bus stop lets go Neighborhood, Aguimes and San Bartolome de Tirajana, 500m from the house.

And: Gran Canaria is not only a place for summer vacation. Fall, winter and spring (have you heard of almond blossoms in late January, early February? Fantastic) are just lovely here.

Perfect welcome and weather. Cooking facilities were fantastic and the view was AMAZING! We couldnt believe our luck. It is so peacful and calm all around that we were in heaven. The weather continued to be amazing and the swimming pool was bliss and so clean so much better as salt water and not chlorine. The walk to the shops was lovely and has everything that we needed. Alicia and Enrique welcomed us to with fruit and we just had the most perfect break. Thank you so much and we would love to come back :) You have such a beautiful villa!
Our stay @ Alicias house was an experience itself. The ride up to here house was exciting with beautiful views constantly. The higher we got, the colder it gets, so beware that if youre stay is in winter-time bring some sweaters! The house has everything you need. Dont expect great luxury, everything is quit authentique but with great charmes! I recommend the house, cause of its great environment. Santa Lucia is great, the people are friendly and perfectly for those who wants to relax, making nice long walks
Santa Lucia is a beautiful quiet village. Found three good restaurants. We liked the Caldera with helpful barman and interesting locals. The Mirador had good food also. Several good supermarkets. Recommended local walks - Santa Lucia Circuit, Cruz Grande Circuit, San Bartolome Circuit - all from Rambling Rogers guides which are very good.
