Overview

A pretty traditional rustic style Spanish cortijo/cottage, only 8 minutes by car to the centre of Salobrena town and beach. The property is situated on top of a hill accessed by a fairly steep long drive with wonderful views of the Sierra Nevada and views towards the sea and the Port of Motril. There is a private pool with sun loungers, barbecue area, outside bar and terrace with seating. The fully equipped property has a lounge, dining room, kitchen and seating area with sofa bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two singles. There are two bathrooms situated on the ground floor and a toilet upstairs. The access by tarmac road is good to the property. A car is essential. Pets are welcome.

This is a good base in which to explore the region of Granada, an ideal get away from it all, but being not too far away from the beach and town. Salobrena is in the Costa Tropical region, lesser known than its crowded neighbours and is a lovely unspoilt village, overlooked by the old town and imposing castle. It does however have a number of bars, restaurants, shops and a long clean beach lined with traditional chiringuito restaurants, serving local delicacies and fresh fish.

Un bonito cortijo, a solo 8 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad y la playa de Salobreña. La propiedad está situada en la cima de una colina a la que se accede por un camino bastante empinado con maravillosas vistas de Sierra Nevada y vistas hacia el mar y el Puerto de Motril. Hay una piscina privada con tumbonas, zona de barbacoa, bar exterior y terraza con asientos. La propiedad, totalmente equipada, cuenta con salón, comedor, cocina y zona de estar con sofá cama. En la planta superior tenemos dos dormitorios, uno con cama de matrimonio y el otro con dos individuales. Hay dos baños situados en la planta baja y un aseo en la planta superior. El acceso por carretera asfaltada es bueno a la propiedad. Un coche es esencial. Aceptamos mascotas.

Esta es una buena base para explorar la región de Granada, una escapada ideal de todo, pero no demasiado lejos de la playa y la ciudad. Salobreña se encuentra en la región de la Costa Tropical, menos conocida que sus concurridos vecinos y es un encantador pueblo virgen, dominado por el casco antiguo y el imponente castillo. Sin embargo, cuenta con una serie de bares, restaurantes, tiendas y una larga playa limpia bordeada de chiringuitos tradicionales, que sirven delicias locales y pescado fresco.

Nous avons passé un tres tres beau sejour. La piscine est tres grande et l extérieur sont magnifiques ; la maison tres spacieuse. La maison est est en haut des montagnes, la vue est magnifique et pas de vis a vis. Merci a Suzanne également 😊

El cortijo es un lugar excelente para aislarse de todo y descansar, en familia, con mascota y disfrutando de la piscina y de las vistas. Está completamente equipado para hacer la estancia muy comfortable. La comunicacion con la dueña es excelente porque está disponible pero respetando la privacidad y además es muy amable.

A beautiful, large, well-kept house in a beautiful and quiet location. This house has exceeded our wishes. We were well received by Suzanne who was always available. The house was super clean and tidy. And the kids have had their fun in the big pool. From here we could do various excursions by car. A fantastic holiday!

Een mooi, groot, verzorgd huis op een prachtige en rustige locatie. Dit huis heeft onze wensen overtroffen. We werden goed ontvangen door Suzanne die steeds bereikbaar was. Het huis was super proper en verzorgd. En de kinderen hebben zich helemaal uitgeleefd in het grote zwembad. Van hieruit konden we met de auto verschillende excursies doen. Een fantastische vakantie!

The farm is an excellent place to isolate yourself from everything and rest, with a family, with a pet and enjoying the pool and the views. It is fully equipped to make the stay very comfortable. The communication with the owner is excellent because it is available but respecting privacy and is also very friendly.

For those who like to be quiet, do not look any further. This is the place.. and on top of that comfortable. The whole house is very cozy and very well equipped with all kinds of accessories: kitchen, bathrooms, plugs, lamps, very new appliances and a large refrigerator with enough capacity. Unbeatable back pool area. Very much privacy and peace. When on the beach it's windy and you can't stay, the pool is really luxurious.
