This delightful village house dates back to the 1610´s and is full of attractive original features. It is located in the medieval village of Pals.

Overview

It is rare opportunity to find a house like this one in such an amazing location. Once in side the villa, the garden and the pool you would really not know that you were in the middle of a village.

It is located in the medieval village of Pals, with a selection of restaurants and local shops on its doorstep. There are wonderful views over the surrounding country side from the upper roof terrace and the garden terrace overlooks “Ca la Pruna” square giving a great view of some of the local cultural fiestas e.g. Childrens plays, Sardana Dancing, wine and cheese festival, etc NB There are a couple of evenings in August when there will be some noise from the village festival and the wine festival.

The villa is very pleasantly decorated and furnished and is a real home from home. The walled garden is on several levels so offers plenty of sun, or shade, which ever you prefer, all day.

The pool is 3.5 x 4m and 1.20m – 1.60m deep, sufficient to refresh in the heat or after a day at the beach.

There is a large BBQ on the terrace closest to the kitchen and a covered terrace area with sofas and chairs over looking the square.

The rest of the garden is with grass and flower beds. There is attractive garden lighting through out.

There are a four steps from the street leading to the entrance area, with a storage area, TV room with access to the walled garden with BBQ and pool, sitting room, very well equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machines, etc) with dining table and access to the garden, pool and terraces, guest WC, upstairs to four bedrooms, double (150cm) with en-suite shower room, twin, extra large double room (180cm), a large bedroom with access to the garden/pool with a large single bed (135cm) and a normal single bed, family bathroom. There is also access to a laundry terrace with washing machine and dryer, and access to the roof terrace with garden furniture.

Parking in this area of Pals is for residents only, there are two street parking places available for the renters of this fabulous property.

Great location right in the heart of Pals. Very nice, well equipped village house with nice garden and a refreshing small pool. The terraces provided an excellent spot for a sundowner and a long supper. Comfortable beds and sitting room. Well equipped kitchen. Pals is in a great location for both Girona and the amazing coves and beaches. The nearby Padel courts at Golf de Pals were great fun every morning. Bathrooms were dated and small and not really sufficient for four bedrooms. Overall, a great place to stay in the heart of a lovely village.

We absolutely loved our week at this property! Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. The village of Pals is magical and our very central location allowed us to step out the door and enjoy the village at any time. It was particularly enjoyable to walk around late at night or in the early morning when it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves and could really soak up the atmosphere. The house itself was exceptional. Staying in a building that is hundreds of years old is an experience in itself. Despite its age it has been very tastefully renovated and contains every conceivable amenity. There are indoor and outdoor areas for us to enjoy privately or with our whole group to relax, eat, read and so on. There were only five of us but it could easily have accommodated a few more people. We particularly enjoyed the plunge pool and had a great time cooling off. The management was also very smooth and helpful.

The house was beautiful and offered a lot of privacy despite the fact that it is located in the middle of the tourist crowded part of Pals. Combines a beautiful location with a quiet homely environment with fine garden and swimming pool. Really a place to relax and make day trips from there. Only challenging is that the terraces and restaurants in the old part of Pals are constantly full because of the day people. But overall wonderful stay.

This wonderful 17th century house is right in the heart of the beautiful village of Pals. The house itself is very peaceful and backs onto a wonderfully atmospheric walled garden with a pool, which we really enjoyed. We loved the fact there was seating/eating areas on different levels outside, which was perfect for warm evenings. The house has been beautifully restored by the owners and has a special charm. You can certainly a keen foodie lives here as it’s the best equipped kitchen we have stayed in – there’s everything you could possibly need. But if you don't want to cook, there are excellent local restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. The garden is multilevel, which really added to the magical uniqueness of this home, but may not be suitable for those who can’t manage steps.

Fantastic stone house in Pals old town. Lives up to the photos with some great period features including a fantastic old bread oven. Everything very comfortable, great bed. Fabulous views with a lovely outdoor space and although the pool isn't huge it is all you need. Although the house is in the centre of the village it was very peaceful and a few minutes walk gets you to lots of bars and restaurants.
