This is a stunning property located in the heart of the market town of Palafrugell. Formerly the home and art studio of Tano Pisano—an Italian artist who spent years drawing inspiration from Palafrugell and its surroundings—the house still features some of his original works.
Bright and spacious, built at the end of the 19th century, this property offers ample room for a family holiday or an extended stay to enjoy life in this vibrant region.
Palafrugell is the local market town and a lively cultural hub. Its weekly market, music festivals, and active arts scene make it a natural draw for anyone wishing to experience authentic local life.
Ideally situated near the town hall, the house has easy access to the town centre with its many shops, bars and restaurants and is just a short drive from the beaches of Llafranc, Calella, and Tamariu—some of the most sought-after destinations on the Costa Brava.
Due to the unique and exceptional nature of the property, it is offered with the services of a housekeeper. In addition to regular cleaning and bed-making, she can also provide cooking and other household assistance if required (for an additional fee).

Ground Floor:
Entrance into a hallway and corridor. To the left is a sitting room with a large-screen TV and fireplace. At the end of the corridor is a family room with a dining table, sofa, and fireplace. To the right is a large farmhouse kitchen with a butler’s pantry—fully equipped and spacious, perfectly suited to the style of the property.. Guest WC
From here, doors open to the courtyard and garden, which feature a large marble-topped table, chairs, and loungers in a covered area (during the warmer months). The courtyard is decorated with beautiful tiles designed and painted by the artist himself.
First Floor:
A staircase leads to four bedrooms:
Two with large double beds
One with two single beds (convertible into a double)
One additional bedroom with a large double bed
There is also a spacious dressing room with several wardrobes, and each bedroom has additional hanging and storage space. A large family bathroom with a shower completes this level. Doors open onto a terrace overlooking the courtyard, with seating area and tables, also a laundry room with a washing machine.
Second Floor:
The top floor features a large den with TV, sofas, table, and chairs—ideal as a playroom, or additional lounge area, office desk and high speed internet. There is also a fifth bedroom (two single beds, convertible to a double), a shower room with WC, and a private sun terrace.
Outside Space
The garden includes a charming pergola as its centrepiece, surrounded by mature plants, trees, and shrubs that provide both sun and shade. There is a parking area suitable for bicycles and scooters, and a doorway leads from the garden to the street, where there is allocated parking for one vehicle plus free street parking for additional cars if needed.
