Casa Margaret is an individual traditionally-styled and private villa in Paichi, Moraira-Teulada, Costa Blanca, Spain. It sits on a flat 900 m2 plot with gardens in Spanish style with cacti, bougainvillea and fruit trees. Situated on a short cul-de-sac with amazing views/sunsets and tranquil residential area. The sun rises from above the hill to the rear of the villa and stays on the pool, patio area and side orchard from early morning and then moves round to the patio at the front of the villa by afternoon, setting over the hills across the valley. There are restaurants and bars below down the hill and also along the main road within walking distance of the villa. Moraira town itself and the beaches are less than 10 minutes drive. Three large supermarkets including new Aldi are no more than a 5 minute drive by car. Also the centre of Moraira is an approximate 30 mins. walk along the main road, which now has a ‘green’ path/cycle way for all it’s length to the restaurant and central shopping area.
The villa is ideal for families with children - with walls and fences around the garden and you have a key to the locked gate. The grounds are generally flat once you are up the short drive, but there is a flight of four steps with a handrail at the front access, so might not be suitable if wheelchair access is required. However, the inside of the house itself and both the front and rear patios are all on one level, with just 3 steps up to the pool and BBQ areas.
Outside the villa are mature gardens and ample paved and shaded areas for sitting all round the villa, with a patio and balcony terrace at the front. Also at the side there is a paved area among orange and lemon trees. In addition there is an area next to the pool with BBQ and raised patio.
At the rear of the villa is the large, fully tiled, private and secluded swimming pool, EXCLUSIVELY for your own use. The pool (5m x 10m) has steps with a handrail at the shallow end and is approximately 1m deep to the bottom of the steps at the shallow end and 2m deep at the poolhouse end. There are gates with a bolt at both entrances to the separate pool area. The villa is fully lit externally, including the pool itself.
There are three steps and two sets of gates leading up to the pool, so that you can ensure the safety of very small children, when you are not using the pool area yourselves.
The inside accommodation of the villa comprises a large sitting room with an alcove dining area. The 'turret' room has been converted to a fourth bedroom with bunkbeds suitable for 2 young children only - this sleeping accommodation is in addition to the three original double bedrooms.
There are individually controlled air-conditioning/heating units in both the main sitting and dining areas and in two of the double bedrooms. The bedroom at the front of the villa has a king-size double bed, the two other double bedrooms having twin beds.
There is a shower-room with hand-basin, bidet and toilet - the shower has a grab handle. The second bathroom has a 3-piece suite with a shower and shower curtain over the bath.
The air-conditioned sitting areas are comfortably furnished with a large sofa and armchairs, together with a coffee table, television with Freesat receiver, radio CD player and a DVD player. At one end of the sitting room is an open fireplace. Double entrance doors open onto a partially-covered balcony terrace with undercover seating and outside furniture, overlooking the beautiful panoramic view of the valley and mountains. In the dining alcove is an additional table with dining chairs.
The kitchen has elegant granite surfaces and is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven. There is NO washing machine.
All necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided. The kitchen area is separated from the sitting and dining room areas by a large stone table with the same granite surface and 3 high bar chairs and a couple of stools and chairs.
There is an outside back door from the kitchen which leads to the rear of the villa, the swimming pool and BBQ areas and to the paved patio with table and seating and a small orange tree orchard.

Fantastic villa in a perfect location.
Villa - clean, well equipped, amazing pool, nicely air conditioned, included very handy welcome pack of food / drink, private grounds, attractive night lighting - had everything that we could have wanted.
Location - very close to a good supermarket, only a few minutes drive from the lovely costal resort of moraira with nice tourist shops, good restaurants etc.
Service - pool serviced, cleaner came to check everything was okay, information sent from owner was good, selec tion of leaflets for restaurants and days out at villa. Would have been useful to have had more information about the area in the villa - e.g. what to do with the rubbish, where the supermarket was etc. Having said this, we did find the supermarket very easily and we asked the cleaner what to do with the rubbish, so it wasnt a problem. Welcome note from the cleaner with phone number, so we did feel that if there was an issue, there were people available to deal with problems.
Overall - We really enjoyed staying at Casa Margaret and would love to return next year - but for 2 weeks. 1 week just wasnt long enough. :-)
