Casa Margaret is an individual traditionally-styled and private villa in Paichi, Moraira-Teulada, Costa Blanca, Spain. It sits on a flat 900 m2 plot with gardens in Spanish style with cacti, bougainvillea and fruit trees. Situated on a short cul-de-sac with amazing views/sunsets and tranquil residential area. The sun rises from above the hill to the rear of the villa and stays on the pool, patio area and side orchard from early morning and then moves round to the patio at the front of the villa by afternoon, setting over the hills across the valley. For further details on the location please look at Casa Margaret on Google maps.

There are restaurants and bars below down the hill and also along the main road within walking distance of the villa. Moraira town itself and the beaches are less than 10 minutes drive. Three large supermarkets including new Aldi are no more than a 5 minute drive by car. Also the centre of Moraira is an approximate 30 mins. walk along the main road, which now has a ‘green’ path/cycle way for all it’s length to the restaurant and central shopping area.

The villa is ideal for families with children - with walls and fences around the garden and you have a key to the locked gate. The grounds are generally flat once you are up the short drive, but there is a flight of four steps with a handrail at the front access, so might not be suitable if wheelchair access is required. However, the inside of the house itself and both the front and rear patios are all on one level, with just 3 steps up to the pool and BBQ areas.

Outside the villa are mature gardens and ample paved and shaded areas for sitting all round the villa, with a patio and balcony terrace at the front. Also at the side there is a paved area among orange and lemon trees. In addition there is an area next to the pool with BBQ and raised patio.

At the rear of the villa is the large, fully tiled, private and secluded swimming pool, EXCLUSIVELY for your own use. The pool (5m x 10m) has steps with a handrail at the shallow end and is approximately 1m deep to the bottom of the steps at the shallow end and 2m deep at the poolhouse end. There are gates with a bolt at both entrances to the separate pool area. The villa is fully lit externally, including the pool itself.
There are three steps and two sets of gates leading up to the pool, so that you can ensure the safety of very small children, when you are not using the pool area yourselves.

The inside accommodation of the villa comprises a large sitting room with an alcove dining area. The 'turret' room has been converted to a fourth bedroom with bunkbeds suitable for 2 young children only - this sleeping accommodation is in addition to the three original double bedrooms.

There are individually controlled air-conditioning/heating units in both the main sitting and dining areas and in two of the double bedrooms. The bedroom at the front of the villa has a king-size double bed, the two other double bedrooms having twin beds.

There is a shower-room with hand-basin, bidet and toilet - the shower has a grab handle. The second bathroom has a 3-piece suite with a shower and shower curtain over the bath.

The air-conditioned sitting areas are comfortably furnished with a large sofa and armchairs, together with a coffee table, television with Freesat receiver, radio CD player and a DVD player. At one end of the sitting room is an open fireplace. Double entrance doors open onto a partially-covered balcony terrace with undercover seating and outside furniture, overlooking the beautiful panoramic view of the valley and mountains. In the dining alcove is an additional table with dining chairs.

The kitchen has elegant granite surfaces and is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven. There is NO washing machine.
All necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided. The kitchen area is separated from the sitting and dining room areas by a large stone table with the same granite surface and 3 high bar chairs and a couple of stools and chairs.

There is an outside back door from the kitchen which leads to the rear of the villa, the swimming pool and BBQ areas and to the paved patio with table and seating and a small orange tree orchard.

We are a family of 8 spanning 3 generations and have just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at the Casa Margaret. The villa is large and comfortably furnished with everything you could possibly need for your stay, and more. It is on a large plot with a sizeable pool, built in BBQ and several outside furnished seating areas.
The Owners, who were easily contactable, were very friendly and happy to meet any reasonable request we had.
We would definitely recommend this Villa and will not hesitate to book it again should we decide on another large family holiday.

We had a lovely time at Casa Margaret. The villa is spacious, well laid out and has good facilities. We had a few teething problems which were beyond the owners control (an electrical fault) but they dealt with it efficiently and professionally and got it rectified in good time. Communication was excellent throughout.

The pool is lovely and the grounds quite private. The area is lovely and there are some facilities a short walk away but down a steep hill. You do need a car to make this location effective. The area is lovely and parking at the Marina was easy and made accessing the town centre, bars and restaurants simple.

We loved our time at Casa Margaret and will definitely be staying again. We stayed for 10 nights and didn't want to come home.

Thank you to all The Smith Family for staying with us at Casa Margaret and for your top review.
It gives us so much pleasure when you appreciate what we love about our villa and it’s location in Moraira - which is the best resort!
What is good is that it suited your whole family. Do come again. I’m sure that there won’t be the same electrical issues.
Thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Casa Margaret. The villa was ideally located for us but wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility or fitness issues if they didn't have access to a car.
There is no wi-fi available however Derek was very helpful prior to us arriving and sent us a part as you go router. We ended up not using it but it would have been good if wi-fi was available.
The fridge freezer has seen better days but it worked okay. The soap dispenser door in the dishwasher was broken which meant that the dishwasher wasn't doing a proper cycle and didn't clean everything properly. We had to hand wash the glasses prior to using them.
The pool was great however didn't seem to filter very well which meant we had to try and pick up dead insects before we used the pool each day.
There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils available, the air conditioning worked well and the layout of the villa was nice. The garden furniture was more than ample, with plenty tables, chairs, sunbeds and umbrellas available in all areas of the garden.
On arrival, the cleaner/caretaker had left some provisions, which was very thoughtful and a nice touch. The beds were made up, with plenty towels available for both showering and using on the sunbeds. The bedding and towels were changed weekly.
I would recommend Casa Margaret as a lovely villa which would suit both couples and families.

Especial thanks for your rating of Casa Margaret and it's Moraira location. We do try to stress that a car is essential to get the most out of your holiday on this part of the Costa Blanca. The villa itself is all on one level, including the front patio and the rear orchard area. Just the 4 steps at the front and 3 steps up to the pool/BBQ.
We have discussed the pool filter with our pool man. He believes that you may have noticed the insects because I asked him to change the timings, so that the pump was not on all afternoon while guests were using the pool. It comes on again later in the evening and partly overnight, but there is nothing wrong with the pump filtration itself.
We appreciate your comments about the equipment both inside and outside the villa. I would say that the fridge-freezer is now due for replacement. The dishwasher is usually OK, although the water in Spain may affect the quality of the clean. The wash cycle is still working correctly, but last summer we found that the soap was not always dispensing, so I took off the cover and just put the tablets straight into the bottom of the wash compartment. Perhaps I should have told you of my cunning plan. Sorry! And I wash the wine glasses by hand.

Overall, we hope that you enjoyed your stay enough to return next year. Please get in touch.

Our best wishes,

Derek and Marie

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Casa Maragaret. We are a family of 4 with twins age 9 and there was more than enough room for us. The villa was very well kept and had everything we needed, we used the bbq most nights and the pool kept the kids (and us) entertained for the whole holiday. The air conditioning was very welcomed as there was a heat wave towards the end of our holidays! We also loved to watch the sunset every evening on the front terrace, the is a beautiful view.
Nothing was too far away from the villa it was very well situated, plenty of beaches, restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep. We did hire a car which is necessary so had lots of trips out to various beaches and to a water park. It’s also worth a trip Les Fonts del l’Algar which were beautiful.
Thank you again Derek for a lovely stay we would love to come again in the future!

To hear how much you all enjoyed your stay with us is one of the best things about owning the villa.
We think that Moraira and the surrounding area suits children of all ages. And as they get older they are able to enjoy the main two beaches safely and adventure away from the villa itself. We have grandchildren of 8 and 14 who are now kayaking and snorkeling. Soon the older one is hoping to go diving with her dad. You should come back again!!

Thanks so much for your comments,

Derek and Marie

Very nice. Homely. Comfortable. Quiet. Everything you could need.

Thank you so much, Vicki, for taking the time to let us have your review of your stay at Casa Margaret. And for your kind comments.

It is very much appreciated, especially as you know and love the area around Moraira, which we think is being constantly improved in sensible ways by the local council - including FREE parking in the central areas of town and the beach areas!

Since your visit we have been busy at the villa and now have an additional 4th bedroom with bunk beds, so we could now accommodate any of your extended family perhaps and their friends with young children. We've also renewed the shower fittings in the bathrooms and replaced the fridge-freezer.

We would love to hear from you again.

We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday at Casa Margaret. The villa was lovely and the views from the terrace were amazing. Faye was very helpful and called to make sure everything was ok for us. The information and directions we received from Derek were very useful. The pool was fantastic and the pool guys called twice to check that everything was clean and working properly. The area was very quiet and local bars had irregular opening times. The local Mexican restaurant is excellent and good value for money. Moraira was a short drive or a 20 minute walk away from the villa and has beautiful beaches and some super places to eat. This was our first visit to Moraira but we will definitely return.

Thank you, John. It's great that you and your family have enjoyed a fabulous holiday, staying with us at Casa Margaret!
Hearing this from you is the next best thing to actually being there ourselves.
But we will be in Moraira very soon.
Please come back!
My best wishes,
Derek Hemmingfield
