3 Bedroom Cave House Loma Alta

This unique 19th-century cave house has been lovingly restored and is located in a beautiful atmospheric, tropical garden with private swimming pool. Surrounded by orange and lemon groves, olive and almond farms. It has a stunning 360 degree views of the mountains, making this property ideally located for cycling, hiking, birding, and nature lovers. The village of La Murada is only 1 km away, with plenty of typical Spanish bars and restaurants, as well as banks, supermarkets, several specialty shops, a pharmacy, petrol station and medical centre. La Murada is known for its sunday market, which attracts people from all over the area. The house has 3 bedrooms; bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has two single beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom with toilet. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The property has a spacious fitted kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and various small appliances and it has a separate utility room. In the cave there is a dining room with dining table and chairs. The living room has sofas and chairs, a coffee table, TV, board games, books and there is a good WIFI connection. For the occasional cool winter months, the living room has an attractive wood-burning stove. On the outdoor terrace there are tables, chairs, sunbeds and a parasol. Bed linen and towels (except beach/pool towels) are provided. Beach/pool towels are available on request for a small fee. If you want to have the house cleaned in between, this is possible at an extra cost.

The house is located on the countryside, in the middle of citrus trees and with many amenities in the area. There is a friendly atmosphere and the view is phenomenal! It is a place where you can completely relax.

The beach of Guardamar and the famous Lemontree market, are a good half hour drive away. There are many golf courses in the area. The thermal baths of Fortuna are located in the vicinity and those in Archena are 36 km away. Orihuela is a very old medieval town with many historic buildings is a 10 minute drive away. Elche, which is about a 20-minute drive away, is world-famous for its palm tree park. And the real shoppers certainly like to drive 20 minutes to the Nueva Condomina shopping center in Murcia, where there are also many tasty restaurants. The village has a local bus service that goes to the city of Orihuela 3 times a day, from here you can connect by bus or train almost anywhere.

The Costa Blanca is reminiscent of idyllic beaches and coves in the Valencia region. But it also offers many other attractions that offer a careful mix of modernity and tradition. Alicante has an ideal climate for practicing water sports and relaxing by the sea, where you can enjoy a few fun days off. Further inland, nestled among beautiful landscapes, cities such as Elche, Orihuela, Guadalest and Alcoi offer a rich artistic and cultural heritage. Discover the popular fiestas and celebrations, the delicious Mediterranean cuisine, art, modernity, and countless activities and events that are sure to impress you.
Alicante and Murcia airports are a 30 and 45 minute drive away. Renting a car is highly recommended.

Beach/pool towels are available on request for a small fee. If you want to have the house cleaned in between, this is possible at an extra cost. There is no washing machine available, but we are happy to do it for you for a fee of 5 euros per wash.

Prices are per week in euros, based on a maximum of 6 people sharing the house. A cot is available and can be placed in bedroom 3 on request for 5 euros per night.

A deposit of 250 euros must be paid on arrival. This will be returned to you after the final inspection has taken place on the day of departure.

We do not accept groups under the age of 27.

Travel and cancellation insurance is recommended. With travel insurance you are insured against damage that you may incur during your trip/stay. Cancellation insurance covers financial damage that occurs when you unexpectedly have to cut your trip short. You cannot appeal to the owners for this in any way.

You have access to the entire holiday home. We are regularly ready for help or questions, because we live next to and above the holiday home. We have a private entrance and parking space so you can enjoy your holiday in privacy.

At the moment, adjustments are being made that will benefit this beautiful cave house even more. For that reason, photos will be replaced every now and then.
