Overview
El Espanglo is a stunning detached villa with 120m2 of living space on a large 1200m2 plot, and sleeps up to 6 people. The property has an impressive 60m2 open plan lounge with L-shaped suede settee, coffee table, dining area with dresser, table and 6 chairs, a modern fully equipped kitchen with a 3m long breakfast bar with 3 bar stools. There is an air-con system in the lounge and all 3 bedrooms.
The main bathroom contains a stylish vanity unit, wall mounted wc and a walk-in shower. The main bedroom has a Kingsize bed, air-con, bedside drawers, table lamps and built-in sliding wardrobes, the second bedroom has 2 single beds, air-con, bedside drawers and a built-in wardrobe and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. air-con, bedside drawers, wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower. All windows in the property are double-glazed with fly-screens and shutter blinds.
For your entertainment the villa is kitted out with a smart tv, WIFI, and a selection of books and games. The large sliding patio doors in the lounge lead out to the spacious south facing landscaped garden area that includes an 8m x 4m private pool, large poolhouse with bathroom, bar and chill out area, outdoor terrace with sunbeds, garden furniture, bbq, gym area, palm trees, and balcony terrace with panoramic views to La Manga. For those driving there is off-street garage parking for 2 cars.
For families with babies a free travel cot is provided and any other baby equipment can be hired if requested.
The villa offers you privacy and tranquility in an idyllic setting just 500m from the beach, bars and restaurants. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday!!
The resort of Mil Palmeras is situated on the southern tip of the Costa Blanca, just off the AP7 motorway and has one of the warmest climates in Spain enjoying around 300 days of sunshine every year. It's very popular with Spanish holidaymakers but remains a bit of a hidden gem to other nationalities looking for somewhere different and not too commercialised. Mil Palmeras has one of the best beaches in the region, an array of bars, cafes and restaurants on the main strip offering a good variety of international cuisine including an eat as much as you like Wok Buffet which is very popular. In the summer there is a large weekly market every tuesday afternoon which is ideal for cheap, fresh local produce and a nightly artisan market on the promenade.
For families there are many local attractions and activities including natural mud-baths, boat trips, a waterpark, fairground, outdoor cinema, bowling alley, paintballing, quad-biking, horse-riding, go-karting, crazy golf, tennis, padel, scuba diving, wind-surfing and jet-skiing. For golfers you are ideally situated to as many as 12 local golf courses.
Mil Palmeras is just 40 minutes drive from Murcia airport, 45 minutes from Alicante Airport and 10 minutes to the impressive Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre which has over 120 stores including Primark, C&A, Zara and Decathlon. A car is not essential though as all amenities like the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket, chemist, medical centre, ATM, football pitches, tennis courts and bus-stop are within 10 minutes walk of the villa. Cheap airport transfers, shopping trips, golf trips and excursions can be arranged if required.
The airport transfer fares are as follows and paid locally to the driver: Alicante is 140€ return for 1-4 people, 160€ return for 5 people and 180€ return for 6 people. Murcia is 120€ return for 1-4 people, 140€ return for 5 people and 160€ return for 6 people. Free child or booster seats are supplied if required.
Pets and same sex groups (stags, hens etc.) not accepted.

the Villa is very spacious and great for families and couples. the star of the show is the outdoor area and the pool. the area is really large, very secluded, peaceful and quiet with lots of loungers and seating. amazing to have a bathroom at the pool area too.
there's no dishwasher in the villa, which I missed. it's a very short walk to the beach and to some bars and restaurants. we were a little out of season, so some were closing.
there is a list of house rules, which of course are always needed, but I would also like a list of tips and hints, how to work the washing machine, the hob, and how to access the fuse box. we had a major storm when we were there and the power went out. Overall we had a fantastic stay

We have recently stayed at Villa el Espanglo for 2 weeks. From the start and until we left the communication with the owners was great. Very helpful with advice and organising transfers to and from the airport.
The villa itself is absolutely great. Three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Great open plan living, kitchen and diner and the air con was a blessing. But it's the outside that was so special! with the fantastic size swimming pool and the outdoor pool area for shading. We were spending our days outside to sunbathe, read, sleep and cool off in the pool. The area itself is superb. 1km (1o min walk) to the beach and all the restaurants and bars. There is a small supermarket, pharmacy and a bar on the way. The location is perfect! If you want to wonder a little further then 30 min walk is Pilar with its marina and lots of other places. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the place and the owners to family and friends! Thank you Darryl and Marina!

We have just spent 12 nights at the villa and had a really lovely holiday in the Spanish sun!
The villa is in a good location within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and supermarket so we didn’t need to hire a car on this occasion.
The airport transfer taxi (organised by the owners for us) was great and we arranged a couple of excursions directly with her instead.
The outdoor space and pool area is fantastic! There are plenty of sun loungers, as well as seating in the shade.
The villa itself is very private, secure and not overlooked at all.
Communication with the owners Darryl and Marina was great, very straightforward and clear from start to finish.

Property was as described, could have done with a little tidy up in garden area but villa itself was great in a great area, easy walking distance to beach and restaurants.

Everything is as expected lovely villa, lovely area, transfers were all arranged with no problems, Darryl is very helpful & stays in touch throughout your stay letting you know what's going on in the area, shop beach restaurants & bars all in walking distance, we had a very enjoyable 10 days & will be looking to go again in the future.

Spent 5 nights in May. Darryl the owner was very helpful with directions and met us there on arrival. The Villa is spectacular. The photographs do not do it justice. Could not be better located for access to beach, shop, bars and restaurants. Fabulous beach is 12 minute walk. The area is quiet and safe. The Villa itself is very spacious and offers every facility. The villa was spotless on arrival with clean linen provided. The pool had just been cleaned and looked very inviting. There is plenty of storage space. The kitchen is very well equipped including a breakfast bar it was like being home from home. The lounge is a fair size with separate dining area. Not that we used it much as the weather was brilliant so we did most of our eating outside. The bedrooms are a good size each with its own fan if required. The patio and pool area were incredibly spacious. The top part directly outside the patio doors had sunbeds and a table for 6 that can be covered for shelter from the sun if required. The pool is a great size to have fun in or a serious swim. At the side of the villa there is space for a car and a covered area to chill in the shade. Excellent value for money. We will be back!

Clean bed linen, tea towels, hand & bath towels are provided for your stay but we do not supply beach towels. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas only. If more people are staying in the villa than previously advised when booking then a supplement will be charged. For hygiene and safety the swimming pool is cleaned and treated weekly by a specialist pool cleaning company.Cheap taxi services can be arranged.

Over the last 3 years we took a break from holiday rentals and have made improvements to the property, the latest being a large pool house with bathroom, bar and chill out area. Mil Palmeras is a lovely resort and there are very few rental villas with private pools available in such a great location close to the beach. If you are on a budget and looking for something smaller to rent in Mil Palmeras I also manage bookings for Casa Carmen (ref: 360244) which is a 2 bedroom Vikingo bungalow by the Olympia pool bar and restaurant and 8 mins walk to the beach so look forward to hosting you at either property this year!
