Overview

Casa Carmen is a lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom terraced bungalow with 70m2 of living space and sleeps up to 4 people. The property has a secure gated entrance that leads onto the private front patio with portable barbecue, garden table and chairs, remote controlled electric awning and large sliding patio doors to the bungalow. The reception room of Casa Carmen doubles up as a dining area and the through lounge contains 2 comfortable leather sofas, leather footrest, coffee table, large fridge freezer and 32" HDMI TV. There is an air-con system in the lounge which cools the bungalow throughout.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, fan oven, induction hob, extractor fan, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker.
The bathroom contains a stylish vanity unit, wc and a walk-in shower.
The main bedroom has a double bed, fan, bedside drawers, dresser and built-in sliding wardrobes, the second bedroom has 1 double bed, fan and chest of drawers.
All windows in the property are double-glazed with fly-screens and shutter blinds.
For peace of mind during the current COVID-19 pandemic the property has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected for those self-isolating and offers you privacy and tranquility in an idyllic setting just 400m from the beach, bars, restaurants and 2 mins walk to the Olympia Bar Restaurant which has a large public swimming pool.

The resort of Mil Palmeras is situated on the southern tip of the Costa Blanca, just off the AP7 motorway and has one of the warmest climates in Spain enjoying around 300 days of sunshine every year.
It's very popular with spanish holidaymakers but remains a bit of a hidden gem to other nationalities looking for somewhere different and not too commercialised.
Mil Palmeras has one of the best beaches in the region, an array of bars, cafes and restaurants on the main strip offering a good variety of international cuisine including an eat as much as you like a la carte Wok Buffet served to your table by robots which is very popular.
There is a weekly market every Tuesday which is ideal for cheap, fresh local produce and a nightly artesan market on the promenade during the summer.
For families there are many local attractions and activities including natural mud-baths, boat trips, a waterpark, fairground, outdoor cinema, bowling alley, paintballing, quad-biking, horse-riding, go-karting, crazy golf, tennis, padel, scuba diving, wind-surfing and jet-skiing. For golfers you are ideally situated to as many as 12 local golf courses.
Mil Palmeras is just 40 minutes drive from Murcia airport, 50 minutes drive from Alicante Airport and 10 minutes drive to the impressive Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre which has over 150 stores including Primark. A car is not essential though as all amenities like the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket, chemist, medical centre, bank, football pitches, tennis/padel courts and bus-stop are within 10 minutes walk of the property. Cheap airport transfers, shopping trips, golf trips and excursions can be arranged if required.
The airport transfer fares are as follows and paid locally to the driver: Alicante is 140€ return for 1-4 people people and Murcia is 120€ return for 1-4 people. Free child or booster seats are supplied if required.

The location of casa carmen is fabulous , walkable distance to all facilities.The property it’s self is clean and tidy and very traditional Spanish in style , in my opinion it could do with some of the facilities updating but as I spoke to Darryl ( this host is brilliant and looks after you at the drop of a hat he couldn’t do enough for us ) about this he was pleased with my comments . Would I book again most definitely

Over the last 3 years we took a break from holiday rentals and have made improvements to the property, the latest being a large pool house with bathroom, bar and chill out area. Mil Palmeras is a lovely resort and there are very few rental villas with private pools available in such a great location close to the beach. If you are on a budget and looking for something smaller to rent in Mil Palmeras I also manage bookings for Casa Carmen (ref: 360244) which is a 2 bedroom Vikingo bungalow by the Olympia pool bar and restaurant and 8 mins walk to the beach so look forward to hosting you at either property this year!
