LOCATION AND OUTSIDE AREA
Villa La Palma has a striking, mature garden—one of the hallmarks of this villa. There are indeed palm trees, but also fruit trees and all kinds of flowers and plants. The villa is set in the rolling countryside between Mijas (5 km) and Fuengirola (4 km), providing a lovely country retreat with sea views and spacious outside area, perfect for outdoor living. The private pool (8x4 m) is south facing and surrounded by a sun-terrace with panoramic views over the countryside and the coast of Fuengirola, a perfect setting to enjoy an alfresco meal! Patio furniture, barbecue, and sun loungers are provided. If you wish to take shelter from the midday sun, then you can dream away during a siesta under the covered porch.
The villa has easy access and is just a 10 minute drive from the beaches of Fuengirola. The adorable village of Mijas with its white streets and colourful flowers is just as close. Even closer by are several restaurants along the Mijas – Fuengirola road (1 km).
For those who like to explore the Andalusian treasures, we recommend a visit to historic Ronda, with its spectacular bridge, medieval town centre, shops, pretty squares, and palaces—well worth the drive. The city of Malaga also offers many interesting options such as the Picasso Museum and the Alcazaba fortress.

INSIDE AND LAY-OUT
All rooms are set on the ground floor, with exception of the third bedroom with ensuite bathroom, located on a somewhat lower level. From the covered porch, the front door opens into a comfortable and spacious living/dining room, equipped with 2 sofas, wood burning stove, dining table for 6, satellite TV, DVD and radio/CD player. The kitchen is independent and well equipped and features a 4 rings ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, sharing a full bathroom, with shower-over, basin and wc. The third bedroom is a twin and has an en-suite shower room with basin and WC.

- Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms and optional at 70 EUR per week
- A WiFi internet connection is available free of charge.

We stayed here in August 2017, easy to find the villa, directions were spot on. The pool was lovely albeit not deep enough for diving but lovely nonetheless. The villa was clean on the surface but I dropped something down the sofa cushion and took the cushion off to retrieve it and it is in dire need of a clean, also the sofas need moving out and the floor needs a good clean behind it!!
There was no welcome pack available on arrival, so we had no idea where to take our rubbish, I found the pack in a cupboard on the Friday as we were leaving on the Saturday! (We did figure it out in the end).
I can honestly say the beds are awful, it was like sleeping on a brick for a week, there is apparently a Benson's for Beds down the road, please seriously consider buying new ones..... The main double room is way too small, it should be swapped with the twin bedroom downstairs which also has ensuite facilities.
This sounds like I am moaning but apart from a couple of niggly bits everything else was spot on.
Mijas is a beautiful little town, lovely shops and restaurants and amazing views. We had dinner in Fuengirola most nights and had two meals in Benalmadena, can heartily recommend Tex Mex Gringos near the marina, fab food...

Excellente location. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette villa très bien située! proche du joli Village de Mijas. L'intérieur est très spacieux avec de belles chambres munies de la climatisation et de grands placards. Les propriétaires sont très charmants!! Je recommande cette location!!!! Excellent location. Valoracion positiva. Casa muy bien equipada y muy limpia. Las fotos hacen justicia a lo que te encuentras después. Ideal para vacaciones tranquilas, pero no muy lejos de Mijas y Fuengirola, necesitando eso si coche para todo. Si buscas calidad e independencia es perfecto. Positive feedback. House very well equipped and very clean. The photos do justice to what you find later. Ideal for a quiet holiday, but not far from Mijas and Fuengirola, needing that if car for everything. If you are looking for quality and independence it is perfect.

Fantastic place to stay. It is exactly what the advertising says: a lovely and fantastic place to stay. We were very lucky with the weather, 25 degrees. In the evenings we made the fire in the fireplace. Good beds en bathrooms. Very kind from you to put the water in the swimmingpool, we enjoyed it! Great view to the sea, perfect place to the golf courses, shopping centers, nice tapas bars...Everything in and around the house was top. We sure will come back once!
WHOUAAAAAA ! La localisation de la villa est très bien, proche de tout, mais suffisamment éloignée pour se reposer dans le calme. Les propriétaires sont adorables est présents si besoin. C'était parfait !!! WHOUAAAAAA! The location of the villa is very good, close to everything but far enough away to rest in peace. The owners are adorable is present if need be. It was perfect !!!
