Villa is a spacious and bright 3 bedroom villa in the centre of the popular Mar Menor Golf Resort. Internally, the open-plan air conditioned living/dining room is well furnished and airy, and is complete with satellite TV, DVD player and central heating, making it ideal for year round breaks. The separate kitchen is modern and equipped with all the necessary mod cons including a dishwasher and coffee machine. From the lounge, patio doors lead to the terrace and private pool. The large covered terrace has dining facilities and a portable barbecue, perfect for alfresco dining, as well as an inviting private pool. Villa is ideally located, right in the centre of the resort, across the road from the resorts hotel, the supermarket and social club, and only 700m from the ‘El Boulevard’ complex which hosts even more choice of restaurants and bars.
Mar Menor Golf Resort is set within a beautiful position in the Murcian countryside, framed by a stunning mountain backdrop. The resort offers a fantastic Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course, as well as paddle tennis facilities and an Intercontinental Hotel, which houses a luxurious spa and gym. If you’re looking for a family holiday, Mar Menor is also a great choice, with a kids' playground available. The resort is a superb base for exploring the surrounding area, with the popular town of Los Alcázares with its beach and variety of restaurants and bars close by, as well as the bustling city of Murcia, which is only a 35 minute drive away. Alternatively, enjoy the miles of sandy beaches and shallow waters of the Mar Menor lagoon.

Overall very good the only gripes were a couple of pool area floor tiles coming away and a lot of bird droppings from a nest in the eves of the building

This is our second time in this villa. It's lovely and spacious. The outdoor area is perfect with nice size pool and sun beds. The complex is quiet with a few restaurants and the hotel has a lovely bar which is nice for a couple of drinks on an evening, with has music and entertainment.

Very very happy with our stay! Location to facilities is great most things literally on the doorstep,a good array of restaurants within easy walking distance check out route 66,communication with owner was very good.
Villa was very nice with plenty of shade if required as obviously it gets very hot, pool was nice.wood highly recommend hiring a car as most things like beaches and shopping are not that close.but all in all a great time was had by all and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The villa is centrally located within the Mar Menor Golf Resort, near to the mini supermarket, hotel complex and tennis courts making the bars and restaurants an easy stroll away. Each of the 3 bedrooms has air conditioning and there is also a unit in the living area which is great during the hot July nights we just had! Resort Management were helpful, friendly and efficient at our check in and check out.
However there are one or two minor faults. The villa could have been cleaner, we found sweet wrappers under one of the beds and there were cobwebs on the stairs. The welcome manual seems to be quite out of date and has water damage on some of the pages making them impossible to read. There were no towels for teh swimming pool and the tiles surrounding the pool itself are quite slippery when wet.
Having said that we do feel that the villa is good value for money. We had a great holiday and would be happy to return in the future.
