Overview

Villa Hamaka - Casa Juan - is located in a quiet, gated community. The house is located directly on a wide residential ring road (no through traffic).
It has a large communal pool (with baby area). The communal pool is exclusively for residents and is just opposite the villa (approx. 30m).

The accommodation is on a closed and fenced private property. You can park your car safely in front of the house or on the private property. The private garden is fenced, an orange tree creates Mediterranean ambience and the grill invites to cook delicious food...

Around the pool , spacious areas of real lawn invite you to sunbathe. The pool is not overcrowded even in the height of summer.
The beach is easily accessible on foot or by bike. Take the small path out of the condominium, it goes under the expressway, straight to the beach. Important for us and safe for you - there is no busy road to cross!

We have a terrace, living and dining area with guest toilet and a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor.
This area is equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans and pellet stove.

The solarium is absolutely private and well protected from prying eyes.
Loungers, table and chairs invite you to sunbathe and linger.
The Spa / Whirlpool is located on the Solarium. As desired it can be heated
with an efficient heatpump.

From here you look out over the pool area and towards the beach.
The sea is visible in the distance.

The nearest bars and restaurants are about a 5-minute walk away and offer a selection of Spanish, German, Chinese, Indian, Italian and of course English dishes. This area of ​​La Zenia also offers supermarkets (Mercadona, Lidl (recommended for wines ), Consum (recommended for Serrano, Manchego fresh food counter, olive oils ).. Banks and pharmacies.

A short walk of about 10 minutes will bring you to the "Zenia Boulevard" shopping center (only a few minutes by car).

This is the largest shopping complex in the province of Alicante with around 150 shops, restaurants, underground parking and casino.

Pets: Dogs are allowed upon prior arrangement.

Just back from a 21 night stay in Villa Hamaka.
We had a wonderful stay here.
Description of property and location to amenities, shops, beach etc. were all accurate, which was one of the main reasons that we booked this accommodation.
10 mins walk to beach, 10 mins walk to shops, 15 mins to La Zenia Shopping Boulevard.
We had great communication with owners, any questions were promptly answered with and they were very accommodating.
We would book this Villa again, when we want to go back to this area. Everything was very good.

Dear Spain enthusiast, a warm welcome and we like to share our property with you. After travelling a lot through Spain, we decided to purchase a property in the area of Alicante. After even more thoughtful selection, this is the place to be ... for us. Why? It´s very well communicated through the intl. Alicante Airport, being in only 45min distance (non mout road). Nice and inexpensive rental cars are available at the airport all year long... Flying in from Germany or other parts of Europe takes 2 to 3 hours - that´s good - works even for a long weekend. The house is located in a very well kept community. It´s very sunny and quiet at the same time. The pool is across the street - so in short distance, but without the noise living next to the pool ;) The house is private, fenced - so our dogs can walk around freely... the big road infront is rarely used. This means even more privacy to us (no front-door neighbours who would watch you all day long ;) Talking about privacy - we also enjoy the private roof-top (called: Solarium by locals). Isolated from neighbours eyes, this is our private zone for sun-bathing and enjoying day and night outside. The house is well ventilated. We enjoy sleeping with "open" windows - do not like AC´s and only use it on very few tropical night´s per year. Even though there are AC´s installed in all rooms, as well as ceiling vents. There are parking space directly infront of the property and on the property. In a short walking distance we can do grocery shopping, eat out ... or even walk to the beach (some 10min) - we take the bikes or our Quad, so it´s even less time and more fun. Now the beach ... checking the coastline, you´ll find these beaches quite unique for this area. All beaches are "bay" shaped, having natural wave breakers and offering shallow waters more quiet and warmer than in other sections of the Alicante coastline. We found the nicest "Beach for Dogs" just around the corner, at Playa Flamenca ... A real sandy beach for dogs and their people - we love it, our dogs do, too. Now, eventually and especially for longer stays - we need to purchase stuff or see and do other things than vacation ... from La Zenia Boulevard Shopping Center, to Mar Menor, Cartagena, Country Side locations, many Golf Courses ... there are lot´s of things to do (if you feel to). From comfort, leisure and purchasing perspective - this area is like living in a large central European town. Languages, even though we speak Spanish ... we have been very surprised, that there´s no need to ... you get well along with English alone. Now, that´s what we like about this place and area ... come on in and enjoy.
