Lovely, spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Costa del Sol La Cala de Mijas, sea and mountain views, 150 metres from the beach, next to a lovely park and restaurants, walking distance to all amenities.

Overview

This lovely, spacious apartment is on the top floor of a building overlooking the Butibamba park, with views of the sea and the mountains, full of light and space. The beach of La Cala is 150 metres away and the Butibamba park, with its gardens, children's park and adults gym equipment are right at its doorstep. The building has a communal pool, gardens and a lift. Bars, restaurants, post office, petrol station, supermarkets and convenience stores, are a stone's throw away. There is parking space available on the street, yet a car is not essential as La Cala is conveniently linked by public transport to the airport, mainline train station, the city of Málaga and towns such as Marbella, Mijas Pueblo and Fuengirola. Conveniently situated for the World Heritage sites of Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, Ronda, La Cala is a lovely small seaside resort with all amenities (Doctors, dentists, football, library, markets, hairdressers, sports centre).
The apartment is ample, with plenty of light and views from bedrooms and living room; it is fully air-conditioned, with two bedrooms (one en suite) and conservatory used as summer bedroom, two bathrooms (one shower, one bath), fully equipped kitchen, with washing machine, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, pots and pans, crockery and glassware. The living area is comfortable and welcoming, with a 39" TV with channels in multiple languages. Free high-speed broadband internet is provided.
Secure entry phone, guest security safe and smoke detectors protect your security and triple-glazed windows provide thermal and acoustic insulation for your comfort. All windows and door to the terrace have mosquito mesh to keep unwanted visitors out. There are awnings in the conservatory and terrace to protect you from the strong summer sun and the bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The ample terrace has separate dining and sitting areas and lovely views. There is a conservatory, an ideal place to sit in the sun during the winter and sleep "al fresco" during the summer. Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided as are basics kitchen necessities.

This is a great and well equipped apartment. It is spacious and very clean. There’s a lovely view from the terrace over the tree tops of the park. The apartment is only a short walk to the bars and restaurants in La Cala and even nearer to get to the beach.

La Cala is a small sea-side village very much sought after by holiday makers as well as people wanting to live by the sea and the sun, in a relaxed manner. It is laid-back and friendly place which my daughter Manuela and I used to enjoy so much during the summers that, one day, 15 years ago, we decided to make it our home. We absolutely love living here! Our apartment is spacious and warm and the terrace can be enjoyed the year ‘round. The location is excellent, right next to the beach and literally a step away from the park, while having all the bars, restaurants, supermarkets, drugstores, banks, doctors, schools, public transport and everything you may need only a few steps away. Málaga, the capital of the province and Marbella, the largest town nearby, are within easy reach by public transport and the vast Andalucía region has so much to offer that you may wish to extend your holiday here! But it you just want to enjoy the sea, the sun, the food, the relax, you will not have jump in a car to do so as La Cala has everything you need to enjoy your holiday!
