Overview
The penthouse is in a well kept high quality development renowned to be one of the best in the area. A very comfortable modern apartment built approx 12 years ago, situated on the elevated Ocean Golf and Country Club Complex which is a stones throw away from the golf courses, sea and local amenities.
This apartment has been under new ownership and has been upgraded to include air conditioning, new dining table and chairs, new balcony comfy chairs, new fridge/freezer, new beds, bed linen, towels, pool towels and many other smaller items, and more recently a new sofa-bed in the lounge. In the last few weeks more new furniture in the lounge including a 50 inch lcd tv, a walk-in shower has been installed in the bathroom, new kitchen fitted units, and a separate freezer is also installed. Last week ( April 18) Wi-Fi and over 30 extra TV channels were installed. The apartment also has a safe for your valuables.
The apartment is on the top floor accessible by lift or stairs and has the added bonus of an extremely large rooftop terrace with spectacular 360 degree panoramic views of the mountains, golf course, red rock, sea and coastline. The terrace is equipped with sun loungers, parasol, relaxing chairs and tables. It is very private and not overlooked, ideal for sunbathing, relaxing or having a evening drink whilst admiring the views. Because this is a penthouse apartment with a balustrade at lounge level and a one metre high wall at terrace level we do not class our apartment as suitable for children for safety reasons and will not accept bookings unless the children are aged 12 and above.
Accommodation sleeps up the 4 people by way of a double bedroom and bed settee in the lounge. The apartment is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen complete with granite worktops, fridge, separate freezer, washing machine. flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player/radio and american style vacuum system. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, vanity unit sink, wc and bidet.
The complex has three privately enclosed heated swimming pools with sunshades, sun loungers, tables and chairs as well as a kitchen, toilet and wash facilities. A book rack houses a selection of books available to borrow whilst on holiday.
Car parking is on the road outside apartment block. The road is not congested and remains quiet and safe due it being over 300 metres away from the main road.
Within 200 metres you will find shops, supermarkets and a great selection of inexpensive restaurants with one euro a pint for those who want to relax with a drink.
A short stroll along the coastal path leads to the village of San Blas and beyond the attractive fishing village and harbour of Los Abrigos, both of which have a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars with live entertainment every evening. A short walk in the opposite direction leads to the coastal marina and more restaurants with fine wines and quality food.
This apartment is also ideal for a small group of golfers wanting a holiday in the sun with challenging well kept courses on the doorstep. Golf del Sur is so named because it is a golfer's paradise, comprising a 27-hole championship standard golf course of the Royal Golf del Sur Golf Club and the fairly adjacent 18 hole Amarilla Golf Club. Both courses and club houses are within walking distance or a short drive. Discounted golf is also available at both courses including buggy hire. The loan of golf clubs can be arranged separately with the property manager if required.
If you prefer the hustle and bustle of more commercial locations, Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are 15 minutes drive away by car, taxi or regular local bus service. The local taxi rank is just 200metres from the apartment.
Los Cristianos has a large open stall market every Sunday and Tuesday which proves to be very popular with the visitors.
Within half an hour to an hours drive the island offers a selection of fantastic places to visit which includes Adeje water park, the Jungle Park zoo with an excellent daily wild bird show, the picturesque rocky cliffs of Los Gigantes, the green valleys and villages in the mountains around Mount Teide. Further afield you have the older and more established coastal towns of Puerto De La Cruz and Santa Cruz where the holiday liners dock and the beautiful small mountain villages in the north. Close to Puerto De La Cruz you will find the world renowned Lorro Park with daily shows for the great white killer whales, dolphins, seal lions, and birds.
Transport by special bus to all the above attractions is available at Golf Del Sur.
The property is professionally managed with a contact number always available and has a weekly linen change for two week stays. Longer term lets operate on a different basis whereby the guests are expected to carry out their own bedding and linen change using the washing and drying facilities provided. However by private agreement with the Property Manager a clean bedding and linen service can be provided on a regular basis if so required, at a small cost.

Enjoyed our stay and certainly would like to rent it again for a holiday in Golf del Sur. Having stayed in the area on a number of occasions, in different parts and different accommodations, this is definitely the one we will check out first for availability in the future. The owners were most friendly and helpful in all dealings and are obviously proud of their apartment and ensure that it delivers in all aspects as advertised.

A lovely penthouse apartment enviably positioned in Golf Del Sur.
From start to finish communication with Tim was excellent. On arriving at the property, I was confronted with a slight challenge, but this was quickly resolved by Tim and the local management team allowing me to swiftly settle in.
The apartment is kitted out with all the home creature comforts one requires and enjoys a stunning view over the golf course to Montana Roja and on very clear days Gran Canaria. If you've rented a car, parking is invariably available directly outside the complex.
Although some businesses didn’t survive post Covid, Golf Del Sur is still well served by a nice variety of bars and restaurants, whilst the fabulous seafood restaurants in Los Abrigos are even more accessible now thanks to the new coastal path. For those staunchly self-catering, good value / choice Mercadona & Lidl supermarkets can be found nearby at Las Chafiras, along with smaller good standby Hiperdino and DialPrix stores in the resort itself.
All told a wonderful stay at a fabulous apartment. Highly recommended.

During that time we have spent in excess of £10,000 continually up-grading for our own benefit and will continue to do so. To help with the costs of upkeep and over-heads we also rent it out to guests. All our past guests have rated it 5 star and return on a regular basis. We were particularly attracted to this penthouse apartment because it was an ideal size, very clean and tidy, had good access including a lift and had wonderful views from the balcony and roof terrace and was only built some nine years previous, and part of the renowned Golf & Country complex. It is very private with two pool areas complete with sun loungers, tables and chairs and the whole complex is well maintained and kept extremely clean and tidy all year round. The pools are also heated when required. Golf Del Sur is an attractive area because it is a relatively newly developed coastal area with lots of newly constructed buildings and continues to grow today with new apartments, shops, restaurants and hotels. I play golf so having two local golf courses is a bonus. Its location is so convenient having quick access to the airport, mountains and larger popular resorts such as Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas.
