Duquesa Del Mar - Wonderful 3 Bed Penthouse With Wifi

We have stayed at this property on a couple of occasions. The property is in a good position, with fantastic views and the overall complex is clean and nicely presented. Unfortunately the apartment, although spacious, I feel that the standard of decor, furniture and the provision of towels and cleanliness has deteriorated. The sofas are in need of a clean or even replacement, the en-suite shower takes a long time to drain away ( this has been raised by others, but still the issue remains), one of the hand towels provided had a hole in it and the saucepans and some of the dishes etc were not clean. During our stay we had heavy rain, however the rainwater was not draining away and the front balcony flooded - a mop would have helped in clearing this - however this was broken, so this balcony was not usable for parts of the week. This could be a really lovely apartment if some of these issues were rectified.

We have stayed at the Duquesa Del Mar complex several times and it is quiet and well maintained, unfortunately the same cannot be said for this particular apartment which is in desperate need of a deep clean and modernisation.
Overall, a disappointing stay and we were glad to get home to comfortable beds.

A lovely complex we’ve stayed a few times. This apartment is spacious clean and well equipped and the communication with the agent check in and out was all very good. The apartment is comfortable and the bedding and towels more than adequate. For value for money it is very good. The wifi is reliable. You get the sun by following it round the balconies until well into the afternoon and then you can sit at the front on the terrace. The pool is heated and there is never any shortage of sun beds. If i was being super picky I’d say the TV is very small for the size of room with only really two channels that are reliable and is not a smart tv so if you’re travelling with children then consider taking a portable DVD player maybe. Also the bed in the master although very comfortable is double and we’re both almost six foot so a bit of a squeeze compared to what we’re used to!! These are very minor and absolutely personal preference as i know most people won’t watch tv on holiday and maybe aren’t as tall as us!! Overall a great stay in a very good apartment on a fabulous complex well within a few minutes walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets and bars. Highly recommended

For information the TV channels are supplied through the communal satellite TV system. The committee were told about the issue (as it affected all apartments) and all channels are now up and running.
The bed in the master room is a standard double bed.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. We love the area and the apartment. Near shops and the pool is lovely and quiet. Will be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious and well equipped apartment. The two balconies were an added bonus enabling us to enjoy the sunshine for most of the day. Duquesa Del Mar Is an excellent complex which is well maintained by the staff and is well positioned for local bars, restaurants and shops.

We stayed on this complex two years ago in a lovely apartment but unfortunately this time we feel that this apartment was a little tired and jaded . We felt that it was in need of some TLC . The complex is fantastic and so would this apartment be with a little make over .

Not sure what is jaded about the apartment but it will be redecorated shortly and I am sure that will give it a much newer feel.
