Duquesa Del Mar, Golf Del Sur - 3 Bed Penthouse - Wonderful Views

No contact by the letting company, no email with arrangements. I had to chase, twice, to arrange collection of the keys. I had phoned 3 times within working hours, but no response.
The second bedroom (with own balcony) left a lot to be desired.
The bathroom stank all the time and not because of us. It needs looking at.
One bed creaked every time you moved, keeping the other person awake, the beds were originals from 2002. The pillows were hard.
The crockery was a mishmash of various sets.
The balconies, although a great view, if the wind was up, it blew a gale, you couldn't sit on it. We tried only once to put the umbrella up for an hour when there was no wind.
The sofas were uncomfortable.
You could highlight you Do Not provide a Parking space.
Overall we enjoyed our time there, because we were family together, but it could be so much better with a little improvement of the facilities

As a family, we love Tenerife and when we saw this place we thought “no brainier”, lovely area close to where we want to go but quiet when it matters - all this is true however we felt out of place here. The complex is lovely, clean and maintained and the apartment was big enough to accommodate a family of 5 without feeling claustrophobic (it could do with a upgrade but still perfect liveable) but within the first hour of being there we were confronted rather rudely by a resident asking us how we got in. I informed him we were staying there and flashed the keys, only to be tutted at and dismissed with a shake of his head and hands. On the second day we went to the pool, our children are 19, 17 & 15 - they wanted some fun whilst being respectful of the community we were in however this time, we were met with side eyes and scowls from a lady the other end of the pool area and all we had done was set up our sun beds, needless to say, we only lasted an hour alongside the pool due to the unwanted atmosphere!! We spent the rest of our holiday ensuring we were out of the complex for the majority of the day and was glad the direct access to the apartment was at the edge of the complex and didn’t involve us running into anyone.

As a regular “twice a year” visitor in Tenerife we always try to book this apartment as it totally suits our needs. It is spacious and comfortable with magnificent 300 degree views from its’ two balconies and its’ three bedrooms and three bathrooms can easily accommodate the family should they wish to visit. Furthermore it is in a central location providing easy access to the supermarkets, restaurants, golf courses, bowls club, harbour water sports, medical centre and being on the bus route, it is possible to travel to all parts of the Island. Only a few hundred yards away, there is access to picturesque cliff walks. Being disabled with a locally hired Disability Scooter, I am able to get interior access for charging and security purposes even though it is a penthouse apartment. We again greatly look forward to our next visit in 2023!

Apartment is really well equipped all you need for a great stay, it has three bathrooms as well as bedroom's it also has hairdryer which isn't mentioned, two of the showers showerheads need replacing but not a big issue really just general wear and tear. There is everything you need as a family like inflatable Lilo, wave boards, umbrella for shade which isn't mentioned when booking. It needs slightly updating but overall a really great place to stay and I would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Fantastic apartment On a great resort, spectacular views from the main balcony. Everything you need is supplied within the apartment, which was very clean and tidy when we arrived.
Stayed here on a family holiday and found it to be very spacious even with six people sharing, every bedroom has the use of its own bathroom, every bedroom has air conditioning which was a must in August.
If your a sun worshipper, the main balcony has a great coverage of sun throughout the day and is easily accessible through the four sliding doors.
We had a great time staying here and would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend it!!!!

The apartment was furnished with good quality furniture. The location of the property was everything we wanted.
The complex is very well maintained and secure with access by key only. The only thing we could have wanted was a sun awning )as we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather)
At times a little shade would have been very welcome!
Overall very enjoyable stay and if we could have booked again for next year we would have done, but someone has beaten us to it.
