Designed in typical Pueblos Blancos fashion, it has been refurbished from an olive mill and presents a blissful, exquisite retreat. Guests have calm, elegantly styled, self-catering accommodation in spacious apartments, among the bougainvillaea-decked charm of the white mountain village of Gaucín. The estate dramatically overlooks the quiet cobbled streets of the vicinity, and across the mountains to Gibraltar and over the sea to Africa!

Guests are accommodated with the impeccable hospitality that is the standard throughout most of Spain. Seven chic, self-catering apartments, most with unbroken views down to the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of North Africa, offer serene, timeless settings. Tastefully finished to reflect the Moorish influences of the region, all rooms are designed to provide guests privacy, comfort, and a sanctuary of tranquillity in this authentic Spanish town. The land of the sun has been attracting visitors to its enriched country for years upon years. One of the most diverse and complete destinations across Europe, Spain boasts a deep and rich history, cuisine that is replicated across the globe and an array of different scenes and backdrops that will take your breath away!

This luxury estate sits in Gaucin, in the south of the country, by the coast of the Mediterranean. This humble village boasts superb views and historic towns and settings, the Moorish, Visigoth and Roman influence apparent throughout the region.

In and around Gaucín there is a selection of excellent restaurants offering typical Andalusian fare. In the centre of the town, visitors can sit and drink superb wine and or feast on tapas and paellas!

Step back in time with a walk up the hill to Castillo del Águila, the Roman fort. You can also check out the preserved ruins of the Arabic fortifications. You might also see some of the many varieties of eagles for which the Castle is named. Closer to home, the Fuente de Los Seis Caños (Fountain of the Six Spouts) built in 1628, is also well worth visiting.

Sunbathe and swim at the beaches of Sabinillas or Sotogrande- only 30 minutes away. Alternatively, get carried away kite-surfing in Tarifa - only one and a half hours away!
