Overview
Heated swimming pool available. In an excellent location in the middle of almond and olive tres, with magnificent views of the Earth and the mountains. The villa is located in the countryside a short distance from the road. It is a House with a beautiful swimming pool and terraces with shade to enjoy eating outdoors. There is also a summer kitchen on the terrace. All with the fantastic views. The House is well equipped and furnished to an excellent standard. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms in an attached apartment which has a seperate entrance, approx 10 metres from the door of the main house.
One dog is allowed, with an extra cleaning fee, and only with pre-approval from the owner.
All our villa’s are situated in wonderful natural environment and quiet village areas. Therefore these houses are ideal for holidays for families and groups who are looking for these characteristics and appreciate them. So please note that the villas are not suitable and available for noisy party holidays.
Torre del Mar is the nearest beach and is a 30-minute drive. It has an attractive beach and seafront where you will find bars, restaurants and entertainment for adults and children.
Pedregalejo, 5 km west of the Centre of Malaga, is another beach and promenade with numerous bars and restaurants.
Nerja with its famous caves and stunning views over the Mediterranean is 1 hour away and is a beautiful drive.
The village of Comares, the most beautiful white village in the Axarquia is stunning. It is 5 minutes by car, from the villa and has bars, banks, shops, bakery, restaurants, pharmacy and doctor. There are more bars and restaurants in the small Hamlet of Los Ventorros, which is a 5-minute walk from the villa. Malaga and the city is about an hour drive from the House. You can also visit Granada in 90 minutes. The House is ideal for visiting other parts of Andalusia, Cordoba, Seville and Ronda. This area of the South of Spain has the best climate in Europe with good temperatures all year.
Please note that monthly prices which are subject to a 50% discount do not include electricity or pellets for the pellet burner. Electricity is charged at 0.35 euros per kW. Pellets can be bought from your caretaker.

THINGS TO NOTE :
-Although final cleaning is included in the price, we ask all clients to leave the house as they found it.
-1 dog can be allowed ONLY after consultation.
-Pool heating has to be ordered 1 week before arrival and has an extra cost.
-the heated swimming pool is available from April 1 to November 15
-To fully enjoy the surroundings a car is essential.
-There is a refundable damage deposit of 500 euros to pay on arrival.
- Air conditioning cost: 30 euros by week is in place for your arrival, after this you pay for what you use. The average cost is 1 euro for 1 hour depending on the temperature that you set. Please be aware that air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms only.

Lack of umbrellas outside was a minor irritation as only 4 people can sit around the pool in the shade. It was very hot and the bedrooms in the lower apartment would have benefited from having an air conditioner. A couple of portable ones would have made a massive difference.

Perfect Villa in the mountains, great local restaurant. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet getaway. Also, we would like to thank Jose our caretaker, who was always on hand whenever we rang with questions and to replace a kettle. He even came out to rescue a Kitten that had fallen down a drain and could not get out. We will definitely be returning.

Villa Jose Dos far exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, space and stunning views. We were also particularly impressed with the helpfulness of the caretaker, Jose Antonio. Not only did he respond to any of our requests promptly and courteously but he also went beyond the call of duty to assist us when our car had a totally flat battery the night before we were leaving.We remain extremely grateful to him for his kindness.

This lovely villa has two very special features: the wonderful pool and outside area (with plenty of different types of seating, tables, shade and sun) and the stunning views of the surrounding mountains all the way to the sea. It has an excellent location only 1 hour from Malaga and close to the interesting and spectacularly situated little town of Comares, as well as being walking distance from two good restaurants/bars in Los Ventorros.
It was ideal for a large group with people arriving and leaving at different times (we had hire cars but also used an airport taxi service from Comares for two of our party, which was reliable and reasonably priced). There were 8 of us (adults and teenagers/young adults), which I would say was an ideal number. Note that two of the bedrooms are in an annexe which has its own bathroom but is not air-conditioned and doesn't have its own kitchen facilities.
Communication with the owner/caretaker was good and they were very helpful.

Highly recommend! The villa has a great pool with the perfect view. It’s a very calm village and there are two nice restaurants nearby with good food. Vi and Raffa were very nice to us and helped us even with some personal problems, so extra shoutout to them!
Si, nos encanta esta casa, es la quinta vez que la alquilamos ahora en el puente de diciembre nos vamos otra vez, ¿porque? porque es una casa comoda y con todos los preparos y la relación precio calidad y trato es muy buena. Y sobre todo que se alquila casa completa y no por personas, tiene un precio fijo.
Wir, das sind zwei Familien mit jeweils einem Kind, haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit, der Ausstattung und der Betreuung per Mail und vor Ort durch den Vermieter! Dieses Haus können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Die Lage ist, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, sehr ruhig. Ein Auto ist daher dringend zu empfehlen. Die Orte Comares und Benamorgosa sind in 5 bis 7 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Bis zum Strand benötigt man etwa 30 Minuten. Insbesondere der beheizte Pool war für uns von unschätzbarem Wert, da die beiden Kinder (zwei und vier Jahre alt) so tatsächlich stundenlang planschen konnten! Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Hemos pasado con los amigos y los hijos dos semanas estupenda. Esta casa es muy bien para las familias que le gustan la naturaleza y que le gusta pasar vacaciones tranquilas. Ay unos restaurante y comercio à máximo 7 km. E tenido un contacto muy agradable con Linda y José. Lo positivo : el contacto, la piscina, la casa, el paisaje, casa limpia... Lo negativo : el tiempo que pasa muy rápidamente. Sin restricción recomiendo à todos esta casa. para terminar unas gracias muy grande à Linda y José Pour les personnes qui aiment la nature et le calme et qui ne souhaitent pas trop bouger. Même la fête du village du vendredi et samedi soir ne nous ont pas dérangés. Au contraire, une envie de découverte et la gentillesse des villageois vous feront aimer cet endroit. Nous avons eu un contact très amical avec Linda et José. Toujours à l'écoute et toujours là pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Les restaurants et le petit commerce à maximum 7 km permet de ne pas bouger trop loin. Je recommande sans restriction cette maison. Un très grand merci à Linda et José

Overall score given by the traveler: 5/5 Date 16/09/2010 Das Haus ist wundervoll gelegen, ganz wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Das Dorf ist zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar. Es gibt tolle Restaurants in der Umgebung. Die Auffahrt zum Haus durch die Berge ist unproblematisch. Es sind 20 KM bis zum Strand. Auch die Strände in der Umgebung sind schön. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gibt es reichlich in der Umgebung. Sowohl in den Bergen als auch an der Küste. Hervorzuheben ist, das die Vermieter und auch die Agentur vor Ort sehr hilfsbereit und unblaublich freundlich waren. Durch einen Fluglotsenstreik mussten wir unsere Abreise verschieben, und die Agentur hat uns sehr weitergeholfen, damit wir, zwar verspätet, aber ohne Probleme neue Rückflüge bekommen konnten.
