Casa Las Brisas

Casa Las Brisas is a magnificent holiday home that has so much to offer.

The spectacular view alone, from the house, over the mountains down to the Mediterranean Sea, is enough to melt your heart. The nearest village (1km) Comares was voted ‘Pueblo magico d’España’. Casa Las Brisas is situated in one of the most beautiful spots of La Axarquia, surrounded by wonderful nature but not too far from the beaches, and all the famous Andalusian highlights which are just a daytrip away.

There is a pool area that offers total privacy, several terraces (even a roof terrace), an Andalusian patio and covered parking space.

When you pass the entrance gate, a colourful garden on different levels, with lovely hidden seating areas, tropical plants and traditional trees, leads you up to the house. The first thing you see is a gorgeous, covered terrace with a beautiful seating corner, and terrace heater. On your right is an open terrace. There are spectacular views from both terraces. There is also an amazing roof terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sunset.

Entering the house gives you an instant feeling of happiness, especially when you see the cosy living room with fireplace, comfortable salon and dining area. Everywhere there are beautiful details that give you a warm and welcoming feeling. There is a big smart tv with Netflix and air-conditioning.

The kitchen is very well equipped and has a stone worktop, a dishwasher, lots of kitchen appliances. Of course, there is an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer combi, cooker and all the utensils you need.

The bathroom next to the living room is spacious and has a walk-in shower, a bathtub, bidet, toilet and sink.

The hall which can serve as an office (There is a desk, library and it can be heated separately), leads up to the 3 bedrooms and at the other side to the Andalusian patio, where there is a second bathroom and the entrance to the pool area.

The bedrooms are decorated with colourful bedding and lots of attention to detail. There are 2 rooms with a double bed and 1 room with 2 single beds. (One double room conected with the 2 single beds room).The master bedroom has a wardrobe, and the other two rooms have clothing racks and chests of drawers. Every bedroom has air-conditioning and fly screens. The masterbedroom is completely separate. The 2 other bedrooms are adjoining rooms.

The Andalusian patio is a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy an aperitive. There is a table, chairs and a sunshade. It has access to the pool area and to the second bathroom.
The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a washing machine, a cupboard with cleaning products and another fridge so you can enjoy a fresh drink while laying at the pool.

The pool area is truly beautiful. First of all, you have total privacy here because you can only enter it from the house or from the garden through a lockable door. There is a shower, sunbeds, a garden table with chairs, parasols, a chest with pool toys and last but not least, a pool bar and a gas barbecue. The pool terrace has a balcony with Spanish arches, and you can enjoy marvellous views of the surrounding mountains. You can swim, eat and enjoy.

The entire property is fenced, making it ideal to bring your pet. (Please note we ask an extra cost for pets)

There is outside lighting.

The pretty village of Comares has been voted ‘Pueblo Magico d’España’ and is often called ‘The pearl of the Axarquia’. It has cosy restaturants and bars, a supermarket, a bakery (bread baked in wood-oven!), banks, a pharmacy and ATM. Every morning there is a doctor present. Just outside the village you can enjoy the via ferratas of the biggest Tirolina in Spain. There is a FREE PADEL COURT in the village.The magnificent surroundings invite you to hike, bike, mountainbike or just…relax and enjoy the views.

The award-winning beach of Torre del mar is only 40 minutes (approx) by car from the house. You can find many marvellous ‘chiringuitos’ (beach restaurants) where you can enjoy fresh fish that comes directly from the nearby fishing harbour of Caleta de Velez. Velez Malaga which is next to Torre del Mar has a big commercial centre. The beautiful lake of Viñuela lies at a 40 minute drive from the house (approx). You can hike around the lake and enjoy a good meal in one of the restaurants. Nerja, with it’s famous caves and the well known Balcon d’ Europa is about an hours drive from the house (approx). Málaga, pearl of gastronomy and culture is also just an hour away. Visit one of the many museums, visit a real Flamenco show or shop till you drop in the famous Calle Larios. Málaga has something to offer for everyone. Villa Las Palomeras is also perfectly situated for visiting other parts of Andalusia. You can visit Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) or the world famous Caminito del Rey, during a day trip.
