This was honestly the best most beautiful villa we have stayed in. The garden is spectacular and the views are stunning. We love to cook and the kitchen had more than needed to make it a home from home experience. The outdoor area was like a little paradise and this is where we spent most of our time. The owners were so nice and all the supporting staff couldnt have done more to make us welcome and comfortable. For us this was a celebration of a special occassion and it was just perfect. Thankyou so much for a wonderful holiday! The Robinsons.

We enjoyed 2 weeks plus three nights at Casa Las Brisas and really liked the villa. It is down a small lane just off the main road into Comares - although 'main road' suggests it is busy which it certainly was not during our stay. Not surprisingly the roads around are quite steep and although a fit person could walk into the village I doubt many would tackle this. There is good parking just below the main village square and we also made use of the local taxis which would pick up at the villa and drop us back after a meal - 5 euros in each direction and good service.
There is a supermarket in Comares which is small but well stocked and we didn't need to go elsewhere for any food. There is a small market on Saturdays - only three stalls but one does fruit and veg,
The villa itself is really private with a large garden surrounding the house itself. The pool area is enclosed and there is an open veranda at the front where you can get some shade if it is hot. The pool is of medium size with a quite large shallow end which limits adult swimming but it is a lovely facility.
The bedroom and bathroom arrangement is a little odd with the bedrooms at the back of the house - the main room and then two other rooms - you have to go through one of those to get to the second.
The bathroom is off the dining room so there are steps down from the bedrooms into the hallway and then one furthers step down into the dining room to get through to the bathroom. My wife forgot about the single step in the night early on and fell heavily - so please be aware of this.
There is a second bathroom but this is outside off the Andalusian patio so you would need to unlock and go outside to use this during the night. The bathrooms were fine for two of us.
We were very well looked after by the keyholders Susana and Veerle and although we didn't need their help much they were very willing and friendly.

Great location with stunning views. The house was comfortable and the host welcoming and responsive. The weather this winter was the worst in 30 years but we were cosy in the house. Will hopefully return…
Las Brisas is a beautiful house with great views and lots of privacy. Communication with the host was excellent. The house was in very good shape, clean and everything was working. Absolutely recommended.
We stayed here for 5 weeks, working remotely, everything was perfect. Truly amazing views, peaceful, relaxing, very well equipped for long stays. Good wifi, comfortable accommodations, BBQ, and a super friendly neighbor lady who sold us avacados, almonds and eggs! Will definitely try to make it back here.
We stayed a full month at Casa Las Brisas and enjoyed our time to the fullest. The house is located in Comares, a little bit outside but not far from the centre. The house offers a magnificent view over the mountains and the sea. The house is fully equipped and has a beautiful garden. The communication with the hosts was very good and always friendly. You need a car to get to the house. There is a bus stop close by but we never saw a bus so I don't think it runs often. If you are looking for a nice and calm place to relax, Casa Las Brisas is 100% recommendable! It takes around 25-30 minutes to get to the highway which connects Velez-Malaga with Malaga and Marbella.
We had great time at villa and surrounding area, mountains, hills, lakes, walks, towns, villages and coast,, restaurants, bars, and local food was great and locals were very friendly and welcoming, everything you needed at villa was there,, pool, jacuzzi, great accomadation well equipped kitchen, bathroom, shower room, TV, bbq, gardens, beautiful location,, Comares,, if you want to drive and explore its great place, or just relax at villa by pool and soak up the sun,, we did both,, and had a great time,, highly recommended
Een heerlijk huis om met ons gezin een week te verblijven. Als je op zoek bent naar rust en privacy ben je hier aan het goede adres. Het huis ligt op een rustige plek met een prachtig uitzicht. Je hebt totale privacy. We waren hier begin oktober, het weer was nog heerlijk! We hebben genoten van het zwembad met fijne ligstoelen. ‘s Ochtends en ‘s avonds kun je heerlijk voor het huis zitten waar het dan nog iets warmer is. De verhuurders hadden alle faciliteiten voor een kleine baby (bedje, stoel, zelfs een klein opblaasbadje). Het huis ligt op 5 minuten rijden van een mooi dorpje. Het is leuk om hier eens doorheen te lopen (volg de voetstappen op de grond van de straten). Leuke straatjes en mooie uitzichten. Er is een leuk restaurant en een bar waar je op het terras kan zitten. Verder een kleine supermarkt waar je alles kunt kopen wat je nodig hebt en een bakker/winkeltje. Voor andere uitstapjes moet je wel rekenen op wat tijd in de auto, omdat je hier in de bergen zit. Torre del Mar is ongeveer 40 minuten rijden en Malaga ruim een uur. Het contact met de verhuurders verliep heel goed, erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en snel.

sitio genial para desconectar de todo, paisajes estupendos, los propietarios muy amables.
Ante todo decir que tanto con Paul, como con Lis (su mujer) y con Susana nos hemos sentido perfectamente atendidos. El trato ha sido excepcional. Como ejemplo poner que se rompieron dos hamacas y en pocas horas teníamos 4 nuevas recién compradas. La casa están en un sitio precioso con unas vistas estupendas del mar y de la Axarquia. La zona de la piscina es magnifica para desayunar o comer disfrutando de las vistas al mar o para refrescarse. Además cuenta con una barbacoa de gas que es magnifica. Delante de la puerta principal hay una terraza- jardin muy grande en la que hemos disfrutado de unos buenos ratos de lectura al atardecer, así disfrutar por la noche de observar el cielo estrellado. La WIFI es muy buena y cuenta con aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones. En definitiva, un sitio muy recomendable al que esperamos volver y unos anfitriones de 10.
