La Casa del Dibujante is an ideal accommodation if you want to enjoy all the flavour and charm of one of the most popular neighbourhoods of Cádiz, the fishing district of La Viña.
In a privileged location, just a minute's walk from La Caleta Beach, and right in the historic centre of Cadiz, you can combine the experience of great beaches with excellent restaurants , bars , theatre, museums, cinemas and a superb 18th century architecture all within a few minutes’ walk.
A charming and bright apartment perfect for two people in a privileged location, a minute walk from the beach of La Caleta. In the heart of Cadiz, this small building on three floors, where currently, on the ground floor, lives a friendly family of fishermen from the neighbourhood of La Viña. While the apartment on the second floor is owned by a couple from Belgium as a second residence. The house, located on the first floor, is a comfortable, bright and practical house, equipped with everything necessary. You have use of beach chairs and a beach umbrella for the beach. You will also find in the apartment a wonderful collection of original drawings by Arturo Redondo.
Although it is located in the lively neighbourhood of Cádiz, the house is quiet, cool in summer and well equipped for the winter months. It has a communal roof where you can hang clothes and from where you can see La Caleta and the mysterious network of roofs and towers of Cádiz.
How to get
From the Train and Bus Station we recommend that you take a taxi, which costs approximately € 7.
If you come by car, you can park the vehicle at the height of the portal to download the suitcases. There are several public car parks very close. For stays of more than three days we recommend the one located in the port of Reina Sofia, address Punta San Felipe, weekly bonus € 20
The centre of Cadiz is small, and you can walk comfortably without much traffic. To get to the to the other beaches and Paseo Marítimo de Cádiz outside the city walls, there is good public transport and a bus stop very near the property
House guide
Wifi: Lowi33BD-5G
Hot water heater is automatic, it turns on when you open the tap. It works with butane gas. The cylinder must always remain in an upright position. In case it's empty, you can change it for a new one, which is located at the entrance of the house, on the stairs. Tilt it as little as possible when putting it under the sink.
Washing machine: We recommend using program number 7 for a quick wash of lightly soiled laundry. Use program number 12 for dirty or very dirty clothes.
Dishwasher: We recommend using the quick wash program.
Please make sure that the refrigerator is properly closed when used.
We have a kettle, do not use it to heat other drinks.
Please wear flip flops or slippers to be at home and respect the hours of rest and silence.
There are two chairs and umbrella for the beach, you will find them in the entrance
hall of the building.
