The house is a one-off built in the hills between Los Romanes and Benamargosa. It benefits from stunning views sweeping around from Mount Maroma past the Med at Torre del Mar and around to the valley below Comares. Set on its' own plot it is ideal for those looking for a peaceful holiday retreat whilst within easy distance of Velez-Malaga and the seaside town of Torre del Mar. Perfect for walking, mountain biking or even bird watching as the eagles fly past the house. The house offers a tranquil, relaxing setting which is perfect for families or couples.
The house is a perfect base for exploring the countryside whether on foot, car or, if you are feeling really fit, by mountain bike!
Across the valley you will see the village of Comares, which dates from Medieval times and is said to be the highest village in Andalucia. Walk a short distance northwards up the track at the side of the house and you will be rewarded with views over Lake Viñuela with Mount Maroma towering above.
The village of Benamargosa lies in the valley to the south of the property and a few kilometres to the south is the town of Velez-Malaga with its 13th Century fort . Just above the house are the remains of an ancient atalaya (lookout post) with a more complete tower visible a few kilometres to the east.

We Stayed in August for 10 days with our three sons.
Stunning villa and breathtaking views however the drive up is nail biting and you do need a suitable vehicle ! But once you are up it’s to die for and we would definitely stay again ! El Charco is a fab restaurant nearby with entertainment too we highly recommend it! Tony was so helpful and a really lovely chap and his wife was lovely too!! - the villa was fantastically well equipped and very comfortable. We loved our holiday so thank you 😊
A perfect environment to find solace and relax in the sun. The pool was perfect and the house had everything you need for an enjoyable trip. The coastal resort is unspoiled by commercialism so quiet, popular with Spanish holiday makers. The local restaurant is simply amazing and inexpensive too. Car hire is essential and the last 600m of road to the villa is a dirty track which some might not like, but overall it’s not to be missed.
Lovely property and very homely. We really enjoyed our time at the property and the owner and Tony, the man on the ground were very helpful when asked.
When we arrived it was a bit nail bitting
Getting up there but once in the villa it was well worth it.
Toni was really helpful and everything you could want was in the Villa.
We went out most days but stayed in the villa all morning as you could never get bored of the views.
The local village was lovely and a 20min ride to the spainsh equivalent of Tescos was easy.
Had lots of comments from our pictures from family and friends.
Top place to chill out and relax.
Stunning views. Very relaxing and peaceful. Probably the best thing I've done in ages.
Communication with the owner and manager was very straightforward which is what you need.
Everything was as described, in fact it was better!
We would love to spend the whole of next summer there.
