Overview
Named after the grandfather of the present owners, who originally bought the plot the house stands in, back in 1913. This rural Spanish house has been totally reformed and refurbished and is both modern and comfortable.
On the outskirts of Benalmadena pueblo this house has the feel of real country living, with it's own orchard that boasts fruit trees such as oranges, lemons, khaki and olives. There is a private pool set on an elevated sun terrace.
Although it is in a country setting, it's only a few minutes walk up into the village centre. The nearest bar is only a 3 minute walk. The beautiful setting of plaza España (the village centre) is about 5 minutes walk, which has a selection of restaurants and shops. The walk into the centre of Benalmadena Pueblo is up a steep hill, but is only 200m before you find yourself in Plaza España - the centre of the pueblo.
The house has 3 separate bedrooms, all well decorated, and comfortably sleeps 6. A double bedrooms and bathroom are situated on the ground floor, with two twin bedded rooms and bathroom upstairs.
Check in is 1500 hrs onwards, and check out is 1000 hrs. These times are flexible when possible depending on other guests' arrivals and departures. If your flight arrives earlier than your check in time we can arrange to meet you to drop your bags and then return to the villa after it has been cleaned.

Just back from a wonderful week at this superb villa. The property has everything you could want and a view that took our breath away for the entire stay.
Inside and out, it is spacious and comfortable. Even on chilly October evenings, we spent most of our time on the outside patio area but inside the house was spotlessly clean and well equipped.
There's nothing to fault about the place and we hope very much to return again some time. One word of warning, as the owner's description makes clear, it's a short but steep climb to the village. They're not joking on either count, it is short, but it is steep.

The villa is very homely and comfortable set in beautiful grounds. The views of the sea and country are both peaceful and lovely. We enjoyed the fresh figs and grapes, also wine which the owner left us and the lemons off the trees were great in the gin and tonic!. The Spanish omelette which the owner brought to us was also delicious and very kind of her.
The property is very close to the village but might not be suitable for people who are a bit infirm as there is a steep but short hill before you reach the square.
Tony who manages the property is very kind and helpful for any problems. Cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

Delightful week at a really lovely villa within a very short walking distance of all the village facilities. Tony the rep was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble - he even drove us to the local train station to catch the train to the airport for our flight home. The pool area very relaxing but there are no toilet facilities so you need to go back to the house - a very 'first world' problem which isn't really a problem at all! The owner lives on the adjoining property and has a big dog which is tethered outside their house but isn't really an issue - just be aware if you are nervous of dogs, but as long as you don't approach it, it won't bother you. The town is extremely pretty but if you are after wild, late nightlife this probably isn't your kind of place - we tried Benalmadena Costa for a night and it's not our cup of tea so the Pueblo was perfect for what we look for in a holiday . Cleanliness of the villa and town was outstanding and the owner even baked us a delicious cake. All in all I can't recommend this highly enough - we had a great time.

We had a wonderful week at the villa, which understandably undersells itself on the website. The villa had everything we needed for a group of 6(3 adults and 3 teenage girls), and what a great setting/view to wake up to every morning. Being up in the pueblo was so much better than being in the commercial heart of the area. The pool was a wonderful place to cool off, and the garden had so much space to relax in(with orange, lemon, fig and olive trees).
Tony and the owners where so helpful, especially when we where stranded due to our flight cancellation.
I thoroughly recommend the villa, and advise you to explore the area by bus. So cheap, easy and regular.
