Overview

Introducing Villa Kara, a beautiful, spacious, three-bedroom, three-bathroom, single storey, detached, Villa in an established yet quiet area of historic Arboleas, Almeria, Andalucia with wonderful open country views and many extras including A/C and heating throughout and huge terrace areas with a complete fly-free enclosure also encompassing the 10 x 4m swimming pool. Villa Kara is a single-storey, spacious, three-bedroom (sleeps six), three-bathroom detached home in historic Arboleas in Almería Province, with wonderful open country views and many extras including HVAC and free Wi-Fi throughout. There is also a huge terrace with a 10 x 4m (33 x 13-ft) swimming pool all covered in a huge fly-free enclosure. You can leave your fly swatter at home when you take your holiday here.

The meticulously maintained property is superbly located on the edge of Arboleas, a traditional Spanish village. A short 850m (1/2 mile) walk on the flat takes you into the heart of the village. Arboleas has all of the daily amenities needed including a medical center, restaurants, banks, shops, post office, supermarket, beauty salons and tapas bars. Another bonus for this Villa’s location is the close proximity of the coast but without the associated congestion at times.

The Villa compound is completely walled & gated and provides secure, off-street parking for several vehicles.

You are welcomed and invited to go see the professionally maintained garden area with seasonal flowers, citrus trees and palms overlooking an expansive view of almond and olive groves and the open countryside. In addition there is a sitting area for quite reflection.

The largest of the three bedrooms; a king size bedrooom with two banks of built-in wardrobes and an enormous en-suite with a walk-in shower, separate bathtub and a bidet. The second bedroom is a generous double room with built-in wardrobes, en-suite with a shower and double patio doors leading directly out to the terrace and pool area. The third bedroom is another double bedroom (currently presented as a double twin room) with built-in wardrobes and an elegant guest bathroom with a combination shower and bathtub.

The Villa has a generously proportioned living room / dining room fitted with an electric fireplace. Patio double doors from the living room open out to the pool & terrace areas and this is where the Villa really shines. There are both shaded and open terrace areas suitable for sunbathing, lounging and alfresco dining. This entire area is a wonderful lifestyle space, the benefits of which can be enjoyed both day and night.

The large, modern kitchen is fully-fitted with modern appliances and with stylish black granite counte (work) tops. The double aspect windows ensure the room is bright and the views can be enjoyed while cooking. There is also a separate utility room with a full-size clothes washer and a side/back door opening out to the driveway.

All three bedrooms and the living room have screens on the windows and ceiling fans (nine in total) are installed in every room, including the kitchen and bathrooms. All windows and patio doors are fitted with persianas (rolling shutters) for added security and privacy when desired.

Some of the most spectacular Blue Flag beaches in all of Spain are just thirty minutes away from the Villa. Plus, we boast having six world-class golf courses within thirty minutes by car. Finally, we have assembled a seven-page list of interesting things to see and do in and around Arboleas for those that are not golfers or beachgoers. The idea guide is located in the Welcome Book you are reading now. And yes, retail therapy (shopping) is one of the suggestions on the list.

A broad range of Spanish and English cable television channels are provided as is high-speed wireless Internet throughout the property.

Airports:
Almeria is 1 hour away by car,
Murcia International 1-1/2 hours and
Alicante is just 2 hours away.

Summing up, this well-maintained and spacious Villa with a 10 x 4m pool, large modern kitchen, A/C and heating throughout, open views, an enormous fly-free outdoor living area, short 850 meter (1/2 mile) walk to amenities, short drive to the beaches or six premier golf courses and/or the mountains nearby makes the ideal holiday home.

Hello, my name is Kerrie. I acquired my Villa in April of 2018. Unlike most people that purchase holiday or retirement homes in Spain I was not attracted to the warm, sunny climate because I have plenty of sun and warmth where I come from. I came to Spain in search of the lifestyle and the culture. Originally, I thought I wanted to live along the Costa de Sol in Málaga Province but after seeing up close the overdevelopment and congestion in that part of Spain I changed my mind and continued my search which eventually brought me to the lesser known Almería Province and to Arboleas. I like Arboleas because it is an authentic Spanish town (even though there is a large contingent of expats). It’s not too big and not too small and certainly not overdeveloped. It has everything I was looking for but without the congestion. Even in the busiest time of the year (July and August), this part of Spain remains relatively free from overcrowding and has a nice mix of nationalities, even an occasional Yank. The air temperature is usually warm or hot (except for a short, mild winter season) but the humidity is always low because Arboleas is located in a semi-arid region of Spain and very near to the world famous Tabernas Desert. Low humidity makes high temperatures tolerable and is a welcome relief from the high humidity in Texas. I hope you enjoy your visit. If there is something I can do to make your stay more enjoyable please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. I also employ a full-time property management company that is available to assist you 24/7. ###
