This sleepy Spanish town is an ideal location to just relax and unwind, or explore the lovely Spanish countryside and beautiful beaches.
Overview
Algorfa is a traditional Spanish town surrounded by orange and lemon groves. At the heart of the town is the pretty square with its church, town hall, supermarket and bars. Market days and fiestas are very popular and bring the community of this normally quiet town, together. The fiestas can last up to ten days and include concerts, barbeques, fireworks and much more. Hidden around the streets of Algorfa you will find a butchers bakeries,tobacconist,hairdressers, florist, restaurants and bars including traditional tapas. There is a small British supermarket close to Fontana 3 and a large supermarket about 4 kilometres away Finca golf course is just a short drive away.
Fontana 3
The apartment is situated in the Fontana 3 complex. It is on the ground floor which makes it ideal for the elderly or those with wheelchairs or buggies. The shared swimming pool is near the apartment. The complex is secure and well lit at night. There is also rear access with plenty of parking space.
Things to do.
We would recomend car hire as there is so much to explore in this region of Spain.
A short drive will take you to the coast where you have a variety of beautiful blue flag beaches to choose from. If you enjoy visiting markets, La Mata, as well as its lovely beach has an excellent one that sells a variety of products.

Last minute decision for a quick break. Very clean and tidy. Lovely outlook on to the orange/lemon grove

We chose this property as the one we usually rent was unavailable. The apartment is very well appointed and the terrace/balcony benefits from the sun from early morning until late evening. We have visited Algorfa for several years now and this is the 3rd and by far the best apartment we have stayed in. A credit to the owners. The 50 euro cleaning fee is worth it as the apartment was spotless. Although there is a communal pool directly adjacent to the apartment, we preferred to visit the municipal pool which is much larger and a snip at only 2 euro per adult, kids go free.We would definitely recommend this rental and sincerely hope to stay there in the years to come.
