TOURIST TAX
We are required to charge a Municipal Tourist Tax on behalf of Loulé council, on bookings placed as from November 1st, 2024, as published in Diário da República 2nd Serie, no. 140, of July 22nd, 2024.
This tax is calculated up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, per person aged 16 or over, and will cost as follows:
- Low Season (from November 1st to March 31st) – 1Eur per person/per night
- High Season (from April 1st to October 31st) – 2Eur per person/per night
The payment of this tax is due in cash upon check-in, or in advance by bank transfer.

House rules and suitability:
- Groups of youngsters and/or made up exclusively of individuals of the same gender may be considered and only upon request. Strongly recommend contacting us before booking, as we reserve the right to decline and cancel this sort of booking without a refund.
- Events and parties are not allowed.
- Pets not allowed.
- Smoking outside only.

We were a family group of 10, including 3 children the youngest of whom was 3, and the eldest family member was 86.
Overall the villa was very good and we certainly had a lovely holiday there. The area was quiet and the villa had a pleasant outlook over the golf course at the back. It was approximately 30 minutes walk into Villamoura itself. The restaurant almost immediately opposite the villa is excellent. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the number of visits from the housekeeping team to change the linen and towels - 3 times during a 2 week stay. The pool was also kept very clean by frequent visits. The pool and pool area was very good, necessary given the high summer temperatures, plenty of sunbeds, seating and an eating area plus barbecue. The villa itself was spacious, decorated in a traditional manner. The air conditioning throughout was very much appreciated and essential. The upstairs ensuite bedrooms were excellent. The living/dining areas and downstairs bedrooms would possibly benefit from a little improvement. There was a step from the living room to the dining area under the stairs which should be blocked off as this was hazardous. There were a number of things in need of repair and we would be happy to point out these things to the owners in more detail. Overall however we were very happy with our stay.
