Within minutes you can reach the salt mines of Loulé, the natural spa and mud baths of Olhão, and the Algarve’s largest shopping mall, MAR Shopping with its designer outlet. Hikers and cyclists can set off directly from the property into the mountains or down towards the 214 km long coastal route that crosses cities, villages, and nature reserves such as the Ria Formosa. Golf enthusiasts will find over 20 courses nearby, including Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura.

We had such a fun and relaxing time at Heidi & Christ's villa. It was a real home from home with good facilities, wonderful modern bathrooms, immaculate living space and kitchen and chilled outdoor areas. The sunbeds were soooo comfy. Gas BBQ was ideal as we did quite a bit of BBQ-ing. You do need a car but you are not far from anywhere for so many great days out. Heidi had left us some beers and invited to us join them too. We appreciated how they gauged our level of interaction with them giving us space but were so friendly too. Would definitely stay there again!
We’ve just finished a fantastic 9 day stay here and would highly recommend it! The villa itself is exactly as pictured and described. Thanks to being renovated relatively recently everything is modern and easy to use/maintain. The beds are very comfortable, the water pressure is very good and the (much needed this last week) air conditioning is effective. Unsurprisingly we used the pool and outside areas a lot. As a family of the 3 the pool was plenty big enough and we were grateful all of the tiled and decked areas are level and safe for a child running about. One free wash is included in a stay, additional washes are €5. This didn’t affect us but worth noting. We would book here again if we return to Portugal!
Lieve Heidi en Christ, Wat hebben wij (twee volwassen met twee kinderen van 5 en 2 jaar) waanzinning genoten van een fantastische april vakantie bij jullie in de Portugese Algarve - Casa Telheiro en jullie als host overtroffen oprecht onze verwachtingen! Casa Telheiro is een verborgen parel. Een plek waar je tot rust komt en quality met je gezin hebt. De privé accomodatie is prachtig gerenoveerd, stijlvol/praktisch ingericht en van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Onze kinderen waren verliefd op de avondtuurlijke groene en bloeiende privé tuin met zwembad. En wij van de ultieme rust, de Portugese natuur, de vogels en het uitzicht op de omliggende groene heuvels. Qua ligging is Casa Telheiro perfect. In een nutshell: van midden in de natuur naar alle bezienswaardigheden dichtbij. Normaal gezien keren wij nooit terug naar een vakantieplek, maar mijn gevoel zegt dat wij nog een keer terugkomen. Mijn dochter zei bij thuiskomst: “Ik ga Heidi missen”. Daar ben ik het helemaal mee eens!!
