Apartment Wyborn, Lagos Marina, Algarve

Reviewed June 11, 2011 I would like to thank Maria for letting us rent her fabulous marina apartment, yet again. We have now been going to Lagos and this apartment for 8 years and it just get better everytime. The apartment has everything you could wish for on holiday. It really is a home from home holiday. Fantastic bedrooms, 2 bathrooms huge kitchen, living/dining room and balcony. The view over the pool and marina just add to the overall enjoyment. Lagos town is a great size not too big and has lots of great restaurants which are not very expensive. I better get my skates on and book in again for my nexy holiday.

Reviewed August 5, 2012 Edinburgh to Faro direct and return is good - no flight changes. Faro airport under reconstruction following storm damage, so a little time consumming to find the hire car place. However drive to Lagos (1 1/4 hrs) was pleasant and steady and lovely views. Apartment block is walking distance from Pingo Doce, the supermarket. Prices good particularly the lovely local stuff. Met by the complex Rep. Corinne and had a good introduction. Entry to the apartment was a big WOW. Very artistic, high standard and new. Good ambience with lots of extras such as books/DVDs. The kitchen is fully equiped if you decide to cook. The flat is like a home from home, spacious, well laid out, very comfortable, private. Early season but we still had breakfast on the veranda overlooking the swimming pool, which was never too busy. Colder temperatures in the evening were compensated by free use of the electric heat pumps (double as air conditioners).

Reviewed August 7, 2013 Reviewed August 7, 2013 The apartment had everything we needed. It was spacious, light, and well equipped. We could walk everywhere easily - marina 5 mins, town 10 mins, beach 15 mins, so no need to hire a car. The pool area was excellent, and never too busy. The supermarket just across the road had everything you could need. The weather was hot and sunny during the day, but could be chilly in the evening, so worth taking a few warm clothes. We would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to be back soon.

Now that we've been back from Lagos for a week, we thought we would dro p you a line. We really enjoyed ourselves, your apartment is superb. We love Lagos and when we go back again our first choice for accomodation will be your apartment. Many thanks, S and B Finch

MariaA quick note to say what a fantastic holiday we have had, we have all thoroughly enjoyed the break. The apartment is super, I haven't a bad word to say about it - lovely. The pool is fab, the location is fab, Chris Robson was super. We have all had a really great time, thank you. We would definitely like to come again if you'll have us?!!!I am still hoping to be able to come to your apartment again. Everything about it was first class. Location is excellent. All facilities are just a short walk away and you can find a superb beach close by.
