The Sintra-Cascais Natural Park is one of the 13 Natural Parks of Portugal. While only established in 1994 as a Natural Park by the Portuguese Government, it has been protected since 1981. Its area is approximately 145 km². The park includes the Serra de Sintra Mountain Range but extends all the way to the coast and Cabo da Roca, continental Europe's westernmost point. It contains the Castle of the Moors. Located within 25 km of Lisbon, the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park is a popular tourism area, with many different individual historical and natural sites and attractions. Sintra and Cascais are towns and municipalities in the Lisbon / Estoril Coast.

This is an apartment in a multi-occupancy house. There are permanent residents, cats and cars. The garden is the car park. There is no grass.

There is no lounge area, as all three rooms are bedrooms. Beds were uncomfortable. Kitchen has garden furniture, with 3 tiny slatted tables and 6 slatted chairs which were very uncomfortable. Poor kitchen equipment- eg 2 mugs only, though some items, eg toaster and kettle, were stored in cupboard as there was no room on the minute kitchen surface. We could clearly hear other residents through the internal walls, which was particularly disturbing late at night. Not suitable for children due to steep stairs straight into the car park. We did notify owner of our complaint but had no further response.
Not recommended.

«Comfortable, quiet, which allows you to sleep properly. Three bedrooms each with its own bathroom and air-conditioning, a courtyard with a parking lot. Parking in Sintra is a problem, and here's a huge yard. Nearby there is a small grocery where you can buy everything, but buy preferably earlier, or even in the evening the assortment runs dry. Of kitchen appliances and appliances, there is almost everything, but there is not enough oven. There is a small veranda where you can sit and admire the mountains. Nearby there are several restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is new. The center is about 1 km. ..»(Russian Guest)
