Luxury 6 Bedroom Villa Pinecliffs, Albufeira, Pool

Online pictures quite out of date and slightly mis-leading. Pinecliffs is in a good peaceful location, very convient for essential shopping, good restaurants and not too far from the beach (via the Pinecliffs Resort). The swimming pool is good and was serviced by pool attendant several times during our stay. The pool table proved to be a winner with the younger set. One or two things getting a bit 'tired' but our group of 10 had a wonderful sunny holiday and were not put off by minor issues.

Enjoyable stay, picked up promptly from airport, checked into property quickly, had everything we needed, and Jorge was easy to communicate with and helped where possible with all our questions and info, short cab ride into albufeira towns and villa moura, pool table needs updating but done the job, overall was a good stay with friends

As a family party of 14, Villa Pinecliffs was a great place for us to stay on our holiday to Portugal. There was plenty of room, inside and out, very good sized bedrooms, a lovely pool to cool off in, lots of good quality sunbeds (the sprinklers/dew seemed to get these wet overnight but they soon dried off) and a barbecue area for our bigger meals together. The kitchen is adequately equipped (could do with a few more mugs, a draining board and a couple more trays for the oven if I was being picky), has a dishwasher and 2 large fridge/freezers in and a washing machine in the small room opposite. There is a ping-pong table with bats and balls provided and a pool table which, quite frankly, could do with replacing. My double request for this, before and after arriving in Portugal fell on deaf ears. All other enquiries before arrival were answered quickly and efficiently though. This minor annoyance didn't stop our enjoyment of using the facilities as you get used to the dodgy cushions/pockets!
We read some scary reviews about building work going on very close by, but we were pleased to learn this was minimal noise and not intrusive in any way. Maybe we got lucky, but it looked like the heavy machinery/cranes had done their bit and it was just drilling/hammering that could easily be drowned out by the music we played round the pool anyway.
The local Intermarche shop is very reasonably priced and well stocked with all the essentials and plenty more. Get there early for the better breaded products. Some real bargains to be found in the alcohol section. The local bars and restaurants are again, nicely priced and are only a short strol from the villa. The town of Albufeira is a 15 minute taxi ride and should vost between 8-15 Euros depending on time of day and size of party.
The local beach is beautiful and can be found via a very picturesque walk through the nearby Pinecliffs resort. 20 minutes or so. A lift at the bottom of the resort then a wooden walkway takes you down to sea level. The sea could've been warmer but you can't have it all, I suppose! :)
If you are making your own way to the airport instead of using the villa transport (offered on this site) be sure to tell your driver the road name of BECO DOS CHARNECOS, which is just off of RUA DOS ABELHARUCOS. If you just say Pinecliffs Villa, you will more than likely end up at the resort which is a little bit before where the villa is situated. If your cabbie still looks blankly at you, saying it is very near the Falesia hotel turning will get you extremely close. We found 'Casa Pinecliffs near Falesia hotel' worked best.

Overall excellent all the family had a great time some good eating nearby not expensive bit of a trek to beach but worth it. The villa although very clean could maybe do with a slight update sofa seen better days but ok for my lot some beds a bit hard and not enough pillows .Miguel could not have been more help with taxis for every one .Pool area super comfy beds maybe a new parasol. Overall for the price I would recommend the villa to anybody.

We stayed as a group of 11 friends for a long weekend Friday to Sunday 23rd - 25th Sept 2016.

From the point of booking circa two months before our stay to check out on the Sunday the owner was in communication with us answering any questions we may have had. We were also kindly offered flexible check in and check out times. We had a v early flight into Faro and a v late flight out Sunday. The owners did all they could to have the villa cleaned for us and ready for an early check in and let us check out late on Sunday. Special mention to Miguel who looked after us when we were out there, he was extremely helpful.

Transfers to and from the airport were arranged in advance. Prompt pick up, good price and v friendly/helpful driver.

The villa location is perfect. It is in a quiet spot, near a beautiful stretch of beach (walk-able), you have the restaurants of the Pine Cliffs Resort on your doorstep (2 minutes walk away) , there was a useful shop supplying all food/toiletries you need (2 mins walk away) and one or two small bars for a beer in an evening. If you like golf, the Pine Cliffs resort golf club is a stone throw away. The villa is quick and easy to reach from the airport (circa 20 minutes taxi). The villa itself is comfortable, easily caters for 12 people (and had pull out beds for more if required). The pool was extremely clean, and the pool table and roof terrace was a nice addition.

Great stay. We will be back.

Just arrived home from the villa .... Travelled with 9 girlfriend for a long weekend, we had a fantastic time and the villa meet all our expectation, it was in an ideal location 2 mins walk to shops and some nice restaurants, 10 min walk to the beach through the Sheraton Pinecliffs hotel, we all walked up to the hotel Felesia 2 mins away to order our taxis into albuferia new town which was 10mins & the old town another 5 mins on from their, pool & table tennis table where all their and used within the spacious grounds ..... We moved some of the garden furniture around so we could all sunbathe together around the pool, so had plenty off room, the owner had the villa cleaned and ready for us when we arrived at 10.30 even though was thought we couldnt check in till 3pm and he also allowed us a late check out. All in all would Reccommend the villa and we would defereny return.
