Fuzeta ist a small non commercialised traditional Portuguese fishing village, with a little more than 2000 inhabitants. Fuzeta has refused the mass tourism, so you will not find any Discos, Hotels ore Golf courses. The houses are square and whitewashed, with flat roof terraces, where the fishers still dry some species of fishes. The Village has a great charm with the local market, the Central Square, and wonderful unspoiled views. There are several typical restaurants, where you have a great offer of fresh fishes and Seafood. In Fuzeta you find also a big offer of Bars near the Sea with some night life during the summer. Lying on the limits of the most important sanctuary of wildlife in the Algarve, it is the prefect place to walk in the companion of various Birds, like the flamingos, Storks or the purple gallinule. You may also discover the natural reserve by boat with one of the local fishers. It is also know for having the ideal location for practice of watersports.

The Flat Ria Formosa is located in the small Fisher village „Fuzeta”, also known as “Branca Noiva do Mar”, white bride from the Sea. This Apartment is located in the ocean front line, on the 4th floor, and has a stunning view over the Atlantic, the Natural Park Ria Formosa, and over the Armona Island.

You have two beaches within walking distance (200 meters), Fuzeta Ria, and Fuzeta Armona Island, to where you have to take a small ferry boat that takes you 5 minutes. You also have neirby following beaches:

Nice flat, beautiful views over the Ria Formosa from the balcony.
Fuzeta is a great town head for the Praça da República to be in the centre of things - bars and restaurants.
Its very hard to describe the ambience of a place, but Fuzeta is just relaxing and easy to feel at home in. Most places speak some English, but this is the Portuguese Algarve, and much more fun than the touristy Algarve west of Faro. Cheaper too. And no rowdiness.

Flat Ria Formosa is a nice and comfortable apartment to stay. All the equipment you need is there, but most importantly, you feel at home right away. And, the nice sea view from the balcony makes it a little romantic too. My boyfriend and me spend most of the time on this balcony. The flat is situated near the beach. This beach is ok, but we always took the ferry (5minutes) to the next beach. Here you end on a beautiful (island) beach and if you are not there in the highseason and walk a little on the beach, youre almost alone! Fuzeta is a nice small fisherstown. There are some tourists, but they are amongst the locals, which doesnt make it too touristic. The town is small, but everything you need is there. Also, it is easy to take the train, so a trip to another city is also a nice option. We took the train to Olhao, a nice place, but a little more touristic. We had a real nice stay here and in our opinion this is a real recommandation for couples!
