4 Bedroom Villa with private swimming pool located in the center of Albufeira just a few minutes walk to the main part of the Strip. Short walk to the Old Town.

Overview

Casa Julio is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom private villa, with a lovely private swimming pool. It is located in the heart of Albufeira Town, only 4 minutes walk from the main part of the strip in the New Town where you will find plenty of bars, restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets, nightclubs and night-life. Although it is located very close to the Strip, it is in between the New Town and Old Town, making it accessible to visit both areas. Oura's sandy beach is a 6 minute walk where you can enjoy relaxing on the sandy beach, dipping into the sea where there are plenty of water sports on offer. With many bars, cafés and restaurants looking onto the sea to easily cater for all.

Casa Julio is fitted with great furniture, bathrooms, and kitchen with integrated appliances. It has air conditioning in the living room, and all bedrooms. All windows have metal bars and there is a safe for extra security.

As you enter the gate to the villa which is located on a quiet, private corner plot you will access the spacious grounds to the villa with a parking area on immediate entry. The villa is fully fenced off for extra privacy and security, allowing guests to enjoy the weather throughout the day and relax by the pool in peace.

To the right is the main front door with the private south facing swimming pool receiving direct sunlight throughout the day with sun loungers, built in BBQ and outside dining area surrounding the pool to provide an excellent entertaining space. The villa is fully fenced off for privacy and security.

As you enter the villa through the main door you are met by the central hallway with bedroom 1 directly off to the left, as you go past bedroom 1, the open plan kitchen living room is to the right.

As you continue past the door to the living room bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 are accessed with the main communal bathroom centrally located beside bedrooms 2 and 3.

All the accommodation is located on ground floor level which makes it ideal for those with children and people with disabilities. All windows and doors have metal bars for extra security with a safe located inside the villa.

The living room, internal dining area and kitchen are all open plan with 2 large glass sliding doors looking out onto the swimming pool.

The kitchen is fully integrated with dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven and hob with a granite worktop.

The sitting room has a spacious sitting area to accommodate 10 people comfortably with the breakfast area beside the fully integrated kitchen. There is a separate laundry area off the kitchen. The open plan living area has air conditioning, a television with satellite channels, coffee table and 3 sofas.

The main bathroom has a bath with shower, bidet, toilet and sink with vanity unit.

Outside the villa you will find the lovely private pool with with mosaic tiles. There are sun loungers surrounding the pool with the outside dining area shaded just outside the sliding doors of the living room and looking on to the pool.

The BBQ is located outside next to the door to the kitchen for ease of access to supply and serve food next to the swimming pool.

We can provide you with a Wi-Fi. This will cost you €15.00 for your entire trip. It should be paid to our Manager upon arrival. Please let us know if this is required or not.

The pool table is located outside at the entrance of the villa. It is shaded with seating.

The Algarve / central Algarve region

The Algarve coast is known for some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. The Algarve has approximately 3000 hours of sunshine a year and is generally dry all year round.

Jan - March = Warm during the day, gets cold once the sun goes down.
April - May = Hotter and dryer, warmer in the evenings.
June - September = Hot and dry morning , day and night.
October = Approximately 24 degrees during the day, ideal for golf.
November - December = Generally warm but bring a jumper.

Albufeira is one of the top holiday destinations in the Algarve with its diverse mix of the New and Old Town. The old town remains an unusually pretty village with its narrow cobblestone streets, twisting lanes of whitewashed houses and terracotta roofs, above a beautiful spread of beaches. In the day time, explore all the local shops and have a drink in one of the many bars and restaurants, overlooking the picturesque beaches. In the night, watch the town come alive with street performers and music. In one of the many great restaurants, why not try chicken piri piri? One of the local Specialties. In the New Town, you have lively bars and discos open in the early hours followed by even more lovely restaurants. All this is within a 15 minute walk from the Villa. Not to forget about Slide and Splash, Aqualand, and Zoomarine, all with in 20 minute drive and some of finest golf courses within 10 minute drive from Villa Santa. The Albufeira / Oura Beach area

Recommended restaurant: A Quinta - located in Loule

The Algarve has 300 or more days of sunshine annually. The Spanish border is only 45 minutes on the A22 eastward. It is possible to get a ferry to Morocco. It is approximately a half hour crossing. Vilamoura (resort) is a short drive, it is a golfers and yachting paradise. The largest shopping centre in the Algarve is less than a 10 minute drive, located in Guia Village. "Shopping Algarve" complex has everything: cinemas, 10 pin bowling, fast food outlets, restaurants + all the main high street shops. On the opposite side of the road to "Shopping Algarve" you have the Retail Park with all your electrical and home needs. Lisbon + Fatima can be seen on a day trip by train from Albufeira Station.

Casa Julio is located in Central Algarve and is easily reached by Faro Airport, approximately a 25-30 minute drive. Easyjet, Ryanair, British Airways all fly direct to Faro from the UK and Ireland.

Taxi's are available from outside the airport terminal and take approx 35 mins door to door

Car hire readily available. We recommend Easy Car or Auto Europe as it is much cheaper than going direct to the rental companies.

The pool can be heated upon request. We would recommend through the Summer months that this is not required as it is heated naturally through the direct heat of the sun. If you do wish for the pool to be heated please request a price as this varies at different times of the year.

Everything was fantastic from booking this villa, communication with owner, and check in.
The villa came well equipped, fantastic location close to the strip (but no noise) and supmarkets, all In walking distance.
We are already looking at booking our trip for next year!

The long weekend that we recently spent in Albufeira couldn't have gone more smoothly. Transfers were arranged from the airport at a very competitive rate and dropped us at the door of the apartment. Miguel was awaiting our arrival and showed us around the apartment. The rooms were basic but clean and tidy. The pool was clean and not too cold for a swim in October. Miguel also told us he could arrange a lift for us if we needed to travel anywhere. We took him up on this offer for both evenings where he took us up to the Old Town. A very friendly service provided from start to finish. The proximity to the strip would be good for anyone wishing to visit that area but didn't cause any problems from a noise point of view. All in all, a great stay with genuinely friendly hosts.

Great villa and a great price” We booked through Columbia Estates and everything was really easy - we got the villa and transfers to and from the airport at a great price. Once we got there, the property manager Jimmy was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool area is excellent with a good sized pool, BBQ and plenty of seating for ten people. Its also very private and gets the sun all day. The villa itself is situated just right around the corner from The Strip which means plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. There is a beach at the bottom of the strip, also within walking distance. The street where the villa resides also has a stop for the small train which makes getting to and from Old Town extremely easy. Old Town itself is very nice and theres a great big beach with lots of bars and restaurants around overlooking it. Theres also an elevator at the end of the beach up to a big viewing platform with an excellent view. There are also lots of activities, tours etc to do. We signed up for a six hour boat trip where we would sail along then coast the stop at a private beach to snorkel followed by a BBQ but unfortunately due to bad weather it called of. This was a great villa and wed definitely go back.

Review: 1 to 2 of 2 16 Jul 2013 “An acceptable private pad perfect for large groups” The place itself was adequate, facilities were good, fairly clean and it served a purpose for a hen party of 10 for a weekend. Communication during the booking process was poor, having to chase for responses and then little information given. But the local manager, Jimmy, was very helpful indeed and no problem was too big. We called him several times and he sent someone round to help every time, if not himself. We actually booked for 10 people and only 8 were catered for but Jimmy came out straight away to help. It could do with a little TLC to get things in good working order again. The pool table was bowed so we couldnt play on it, shutter to patio area was broken, sofa bed was sloping etc. But this didnt effect our holiday at all and we all had a great time. Getting 10 girls showered with only one hot water usage at a time was quite challenging but we managed! Oh and there was no corkscrew so remember to take one if you want to avoid corked wine! Location is excellent and was surprisingly quiet and peaceful.
