Beautiful, 6 Bedroom Villa Brejos With Private Pool, Albufeira

We was a party of 8 ladies. The villa suited our needs and the only downside was the showers which didn’t get very warm The pool area and sunbeds was lovely and the big living space was great We did have to take taxis to get to the The Strip and Old town and also to the supermarket as it was a good 30 minute walk but Jim did an excellent job in sorting these out for us and they was very cheap. There is currently a large supermarket being built at the top of the road which will be completed in June and this will make things a lot easier for shopping for the villa Would I stay again at the villa.. Yes

We had a lovely two week stay as a family of 12 plenty of room for everyone. Most things were as described there was no pool table which was a little disappointing and the nearest shops were a good 20 min walk. Wasn’t ideal for pushing Parms as there are no paths along the main road which made it really difficult walking spent a lot getting taxis would recommend car hire. Other than that it was clean good quality for money

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Brejos in July 2018 and would recommend it 100%. Our party consisted of 13 people ages 1-64.

The Villa:
The Villa is very spacious both indoors and outdoors. All of the bedrooms are comfortable with air conditioning. All but the smallest room have an ensuite which we also found to be very clean.
The Villa had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. We were particularly pleased to find that there was a travel cot and highchair for our 1 year old. We did a lot of cooking all equipment worked no problem and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery.
There are more than enough sunbeds around a good sized pool. The pool was very nice and was cleaned twice during our 1 week stay. There were also inflatables for the children to play with. There is a table tennis table which was very well used by our party.

Transfers:
We chose to use the Villas transfer service to and from the airport. The drivers were very polite and spoke good English. They also provided car seats for my 1 and 3 year old.

Area:
The Villa is in a very quiet area perfect for relaxing.
The Rosaries snack bar across the road was very reasonably priced for food beers and ice-cream and was popular with our group.
It is about 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket.
The Albufeira Old Town is great for families with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. We found it was about a 40minute walk from the Villa and tended to use taxis which take 5-10mins and cost about 6Euros each way.

9 of us stayed here for one of the lads 40th’s.
It’s only a 20 min walk to the strip and there’s a great Irish bar to stop off at.
It’s about a 30 min walk to the old town too.
The villa was ideal was us and was in a nice quiet location.
Only downside was we booked a villa with a pool table but there was no pool table there, only a table tennis table.
Rooms and pool are great and overall it was ideal.

Had a great stay at villa all the family loved it . Would defo go back there the old town was awesome

On arrival we did have some issues, as I had mentioned we were landing earlier than the check in time, we were told we could drop bags off then go back for 3pm. However there was no one there atall. Also when 3pm did come a cleaner came to let in our group and we were told the owner would come back to show us around which he did not.

Except from this happening on the first day, the rest of the holiday was perfect, the villa was lovely and clean. It was also spacious and exavtly what the pictures showed (except some moving of furniture).

We did have some issues with hot water and air conditioning in some rooms, but as soon as contacting the number left for us, someone was sent around writhin 30 minutes and abled to fix everything.

Except the odd lizard and cockroach which managed to work its way in, -probably because food was left in the kitchen area- the villa was great and I would definitely recommend it.

The strip also wasn't too far away. A couple friends walked it and said it took half an hour. However most of the times we got taxis, which worked out between €4-6. This was going to both the old town (which has better options for food and sit down bars) and the strip (which has the nightlife element). When phoning a taxi order it to the snack bar across the road, snack bar rosieras. As they don't know "the red villa" or its address. And keep an eye out for it as they don't tend to wait long!! Had a few times when taxis had drove away.

Overall the holiday was great and a lovely place to visit. I would definitely go back.
